The pee clumps in the litter like to stick to the wall, and this tool is very good at unsticking them.The fact that it doesn't have walls so much on its edges makes it easier for poop to accidentally roll off it and back into the litter, but it's easy enough to keep it level so it doesn't happen often.One thing to note is that it has a round shape, whereas most litter pans are rectangles. This means that the scooper will almost never line up flush with the litter pan wall. This makes it difficult to scoop tiny turds that like to evade scooping. The roundness of it also makes it slightly harder to level the litter after cleaning. I usually like to spread the litter around to make it level, and it's really hard to make flat surfaces with a round tool.If you don't mind it being round, then this tool is a great and sturdy option ### ⭐⭐⭐ Has a couple flaws, but okay. *by P***5 on Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2020* The idea surrounding these scoops was good, but there were 2 problems that would make me not want to buy them, if knowing to begin with. The scoops bends at the neck when attempting to dig out or scoop clumping litter from a multi-cat box.The neck at the base of the handle attaching to the scoop is not wide enough for sturdiness, due to the fact of a thin gauge metal and no C channel. The manufacturer sould simply widen the neck to about an inch and a half (1 1/2"), and make the overall thickness of the metal used a couple more Mils thicker, with a channel bend at the neck, to stop the metal from flexing/bending. Then, and only then, would the product be great. ### ⭐⭐⭐ The best litter-scoop Ever! - Now, not so much. Since I have 5 litter boxes here for my "Brat Pack" I decided to purchase a few more rather than carry one from place to place. Unfortunately my local PetCo no longer carries them, nor do they have them at PetCo online. I suspect that they're made 'a little too well' and there's more of a quick turnover / profit selling the cheap chrome ones and the even cheaper plastic ones! If youI wouldn't even bother with a plastic one and I've wasted money on chrome ones that bend and rust. I'm glad I found this one here and will likely buy a few more since they're becoming harder to find. This is well worth the price!***If you look at the photo of the "single" scoop it is slightly pointed, whereas the "pair" being offered are both completely rounded. What you get either way are the completely rounded scoops. The one I had (and still have as mentioned above) was the somewhat pointed one that allowed me to clean in the corners of the boxes. These rounded ones make it a real challenge and a struggle. In addition, after several months of use two of the handles on the new ones started to loosen and one of them started to bend.So the HDP Litter Scoop (also sold as a few other brands but still the completely rounded shape) does not measure up to the old "World's bst litter-scoop ever. Sorry to say.
