10pcs x 10MM LED Optical Lens Smooth Convex Lens for 1W 3W LED Lens

These lenses work perfectly. You can move them back and forth to control the focus. They will actually project an image of the led die. At about 8mm, they will give a fuzzy dot with about a 5 degree beam spread. I ended up cutting pieces of a large drink straw, and gluing them between the led and the lens, to control the distance. Epoxy glue holds well on these.

Because I am a dork, I ordered the wrong size for what I originally needed. These are perfectly fine lenses to use with a single-point LED like a 1-watt. They're 10mm in diameter, and they'd probably make some nice optical sensor lenses.

The clarity and beveling of these lenses are spot on, and I really like the diffusion when placed directly on a surface mount led. In the attached photos, I used a blue 1210 led with and without the lens. At the same power level via small solar panel, the lens adds significant amplification to the visible light produced. Highly satisfied overall with the quality and value of these lenses and would order again. 5 stars.

These work as intended. Good to spread light for small LEDs. It’ll have to figure out a spacer to get the focus right.
