Took about 8 hours to submerge in hot water
11/26/23I bought the 3x4in pieces and they look awesome. I tied some java moss on the wood and it was easy looping the moss in the wood. While I soaked the wood I changed the water with warm tap water over and over until they were submerged and little tannins leeched out. I plan on adding shrimps to my setup so I will update in the future.

Disappointing
Very disappointed and feeling ripped off. Might be 4 inches long (just), but so narrow they're useless. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. DON'T BUY.

Great product for the price
My Amano shrimp went crazy for this cholla wood, really great product! Just make sure you boil them until the water is clear or it’ll turn your tank brown
