Great product last awhile and worth the price, previously dry areas are now healed and smooth, marks are fading as well

I work in a hydro-therapy pool and the long term exposure to chlorine is damaging to my skin. For this reason I moisturise on a daily basis to replace the natural barrier to protect my skin. I have used many different creams from well known brands, but I find after some time they seem to become less effective so I am always keen to try new and different ones. When I saw this Korean Cream by Some By Mi it had everything I look for in a cream as it acts as a barrier protection but also replenishes and moisturises. This cream has a nice consistency which is nice to use and is easily absorbed by my skin leaving no greasy residue. There is no notable fragrance which I like as some other creams are over perfumed or chemical scented. I have been impressed with the results of this cream, my skin has felt a lot less itchy and dry looking throughout its use. At £19 this is one of the most expensive creams I’ve used, it is certainly one of the best performing creams, but due to it’s high price and the amount I get through I can’t afford to use it all the time, instead I will use it in conjunction with other cheaper brands. If the cream was half the price I’d happily use it all the time, even though it would still work out dearer than other alternatives.

You get 200ml of cream, which comes in a plastic squeeze tube with flip cap. I’d not come across the “SOME BY MI” brand before but their claim of “100 hour hydration” is quite appealing. I’ve got dry skin and some areas are worse than others. My mum has had some really dry skin on her arms and legs, too, and some peeling and areas that are itchy. As such, we were both keen to try this one. The mix of Beta-Sitosterol, secolgi, evening primrose oil and D-Panthenol are designed to deeply nourish and moisturise skin, soothe irritation and strengthen the skin’s barriers. I like the ingredients here and it sounds like an effective but more natural, gentle product. It’s a general-use cream so you can use it on your face and/or body as any regular moisturiser. It comes out as a white cream with a good consistency so it’s fairly thick but not too much so, nor is it too thin. It’s pleasant enough to use and smooths onto skin nicely. I do think it takes a while to absorb, which is always a bit of a nuisance when it’s cold and you want to put your sleeves or trouser legs back down without all the cream coming off onto your clothes. I do leave a little extra time for this one as a result when using it on my body. I don’t mind it taking time when applied on my face. In terms of moisturising, it does seem to do this quite well. After a week of regular use, my mum’s legs are looking a lot better than they were and thankfully she’s had less itching, which had been driving her mad. I’ve seen an improvement to my skin also, so we’re both quite pleased with the efficacy.

This cream is perfect for the body and the face. My skin type is dry and mostly sucks up creams instantly however the thicker texture of this cream was perfect and it sits on my skin and keeps it hydrated. I recommend using this over niacinamide, this combination has really removed the bumps on my skin and made it smooth. There is a lot of product in the bottle so will last a long time.

Absolutely love this product. It leaves a coating on your skin which keeps you constantly hydrated and moisturised. I’ve also found this makes my tattoos look amazing at 200 mL for £19 with an extra 20% of voucher at the moment. I’d say this is excellent value for money. I’ve already purchased another tube I really do love this product no irritation no problems whatsoever highly recommend

In recent years there has been a lot of hype surrounding Korean skincare, I’m used a couple of Korean brands before and I’ve been impressed. I’ve not come across Some By Mi before but again I haven’t been disappointed, good quality skin care that delivers what it promises in fuss free packaging. I have dry atopic prone skin and understand the importance of regularly moisturising the entire body every day. This 200ml tube probably wouldn’t last me very long if I moisturised my whole body with it, I think I will reserve it for areas that are particularly dry or showing signs of inflammation. It’s also great to use as a hand cream as it’s not an oily cream, its quite thin and watery so you won’t be leaving greasy paw prints on everything you touch. Despite not being a thick oily cream, it does leave the skin feeling very moisturised and comfortable. As the product details doesn't contain a full list of ingredients I have included a photo of the ingredient that are printed on the side of the box if you are interested.

I have terribly dry skin and with most body creams, a few hours after application, skin looks very dry again. They also don't improve skin over time but give a cosmetic, short-term im[rpvement to appearance. By contrast, this cream leaves skin looking less dry for longer between showers and seems to be improving the condition and dryness of my skin with repeated use. It's a medium texture cream, easy to spread. My skin gulps it in and it is non-greasy. No notiiceable perfume which I prefer. It's a really excellent body cream for dry skin, a proper treatment. Streets ahead of everything else I have tried, and I have tried a lot! And I love that it doesn't leave skin greasy. For me, £19 a tube is a lot. If it were a bit cheaper I would definitely use as my whole body lotion for life. But at this price, I will sadly only be able to use it on worst, driest areas. If you have dry skin, highly recommend this. Regular use definitely makes a difference.
