Everyone is a little bit different, but I liked this product. As I've started aging, I notice that occassionally i get these weird baby patches of less hair. I use different items to cycle through and see how it goes. Weirdly enough how the applicator works is great. Also, this one is going to work better for folks that have oily scalp either b/c that is their deal or b/c the climate they live in does that. In that regard, the fact that applicator works this way is great. The ingredients are fine by me. Some folks prefer just the herbs. Others might be sensitive. You should ALWAYS check. What I would say si when I use the herbs alone it's helpful but sometimes the way in which they suspend the herbs is too oily and my hair feels so weird if I do that. But this one I didn't quite have that problem.

I was excited to try this Rebours Anti Hair Loss Spray because of the ingredient Procapil. Procapil has been proven to help with hair shedding by delaying hair follicle aging. I was a bit dismayed; however, when I saw that Alcohol was 2nd in the list of ingredients. While I understand that all alcohols, are not bad, the alcohol in this spray appears to be the drying type and it does have an odor of alcohol. If it had been an emollient type of alcohol, I would think it would have been listed as such, i.e. cetyl alcohol or stearyl alcohol, etc. which are considered fatty alcohols that can help to condition and soften the hair. This could have been an oversight by the manufacturer but at this point, I will have to assume the ingredients are accurate and this is an alcohol that can have negative impacts on the hair and scalp. I decided to take a chance and try the spray because I really wanted to try the Procapil. I’ve used the spray for the last 3 weeks and can say that I am not losing as much hair during washing and styling as I did prior to using this spray. I haven’t noticed any drying of my hair but I am noticing a dry scalp and flaking which I’ve never had before. I can’t prove that it’s caused by the alcohol, but I feel pretty certain that it is. The price point for the spray is affordable. My decision to repurchase will be determined by whether my scalp flaking worsens.

I was excited to try this out. I have good hair and a lot of it. However, lately, I've seen one spot at the front of my hairline that isn't as densely populated as the rest of my head and since I noticed it, I can't un-see it. I got this as I had read it was an effective option that was a bit more gentle to use than other active ingredients, helped strengthen hair, grow denser, and I read that it had fewer negative side-effects than other actives. Unfortunately, this was a negative experience for me from the start. First, the scent is insanely strong and I found it overwhelming and stinky. People described it as fresh but I'd consider it like a nasty air freshener in a public restroom--not something I want to smell like! It doesn't fade and it caused a headache for me with the first use. The second big issue is that this is hard to get applied into hair because of the way it sprays inconsistently. I'd wind up with too much in some areas and not enough in others. Since I have very straight medium-thick hair that is strawberry blonde, this left a greasy looking residue behind that did not absorb in and was quite noticeable. Using this made my freshly washed hair look like it was day 4 hair and made the texture of the hair at my scalp feel unpleasant. This was weird for me because my hair leans more toward being dry and only ever looks like that when I don't wash my hair for too many days or when I use too much product. Despite all this, I did try to use it each day for a week to see if these things became better, but I had to stop using this entirely because with each use, I noticed my scalp felt dry, sore, and itchy. This was just too drying for it. If I had continued to use this, I'd have had greasy hair, a dried out (and likely peeling) scalp, and smelled gross. This was not worth all of that. This product might be fine for those without sensitive skin, sensitive noses, or lighter colored hair. For me, though, it's a total failure.

Still waiting to see hair growth but it has been helping with my scalp. It has a cool and convenient application technique that allows you move the spray nozzle around for convenience. Wish the bottle was a bit bigger though.
