Peony bulbs
I planted the bulbs in early summer. They have to come up as the others have that I planted. When I check the bulbs, there are no sprouts. Do they take a year to come up?

Awesome purchase
Honestly, I wasn’t sure about writing a review, but based on the outcome that I’ve had with these bulbs I had to share their journey. First of all, I appreciate them putting their license on the box which unknowingly helped me with transporting these beautiful girls through customs. They were being shipped outside of America through a third-party and it has helped tremendously in ways I actually don’t know but the process was easy. Another thing was the instructions. I love the instructions however, I didn’t really use it regarding potting. I have them in one pot for now until I’m able to put it in separate pots. I bought 7 bulbs, one was slow with growing that’s why it took me so long to make the review because I wanted a genuine response so I wanted to give her time to get used to the new location but I’m relieved that she eventually grew leaves and she’s starting to look like the others. I’m not sure if the slowest bulb was a red peony, but that was the only odd color out, the others were pink. In the pictures I have stages of how they look outside of the package and how they flourish after getting used to the environment. There’s some stages that it doesn’t look like what I bought but, with time and patience I knew that it would be exactly how I envisioned the product to be. I had to cut a couple stems because I believe due to journey some got rotted and soggy and after I gave it time to restore the damaged sections, it grew new stems. ( I believe the time period in which I opened it and when it was delivered is around 9 days. No fault of the company. Just customs and importation clearance). With all that considered, I am pleased with how the plants came out. Waiting for the growth was nerve-racking because I was hoping it wasn’t a waste of money, but it was worth it, they’re young, but they’re beautiful.

They sent random varieties
Ordered Sarah Bernhardt bare roots. The good thing is all three roots are alive. However, their leaves look different, they are definitely not the same variety. They will bloom in year three, so don’t know the color yet. I don’t like surprises when it comes to flowers.

Great roots.
Roots are growing beautifully and should become a bush before long. Very sturdy and a great value for the money.

DEAD - Total Lack of response
Bought two orders of 3 roots each - planted per instructions. NEVER sprouted. Wrote to seller - no response. AMAZON then wrote to the seller - again no response. Total lack of customer service. Must be that request beyond the service window goes unanswered. Wish Mother Nature would have cooperated during the return window. Unable to give this seller and product the rating they deserve - ZERO stars

Growing beU
I planted the Peony roots on May 23, 2024. Today, 8 days later, they have grown at least 2 inches! I planted them in a pot and they are doing great so far! Hopefully they will bloom next Spring!

Paid for 100%, 50% failed to take.
50% of the root balls, planted adjacent to each other (same soil, moisture, sunlight, depth, etc.) failed to yield growth. Avoid~
