Its palatable, aroma-releasing pacs maintain freshness and can be deployed indoors or outdoors, ensuring reliable pest elimination backed by strong customer satisfaction. ## Description Tomcat with Bromethalin is a rodenticide that kills listed rodents effectively, even anticoagulant resistant Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice. Individual bait pacs provide pre-portioned bait and can be used in and around agricultural buildings as mouse and rat bait. Rodents consume a lethal dose of bait then die. For home and farm use, bait packs must be used around and within 100 ft. of manmade structures, such as homes, garages, barns, and cabins. Several days after use begins, check bait placement and replenish bait at sites where there is evidence of heavy feeding or continued evidence of rodent activity. Tamper-resistant bait stations must be used for above-ground outdoor application, or in areas where kids, pets, or non-target animals may have access. This product is not permitted for use against the following species in California: cotton rat, eastern harvest mouse, golden mouse, Polynesian rat, meadow vole, white-throated woodrat, southern plains woodrat, and Mexican woodrat. ## Features - RODENT BAIT: Tomcat with Bromethalin Place Pacs kill rats, mice and meadow voles (not permitted for use against listed species in California; see label for details) - KILLS RATS AND MICE: These rodent killer packs contain bromethalin bait to kill Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice - INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE: Use rat bait packs following all label directions; place rodent bait in tamper-resistant bait stations when using outdoors or in areas where kids, pets, and non-target animals may have access - FOR HOMES AND FARMS: For rodent control, place rat and mouse bait packs in and around manmade structures in areas such as along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, or between floors and walls where there are signs of rodent activity - WHAT'S INCLUDED: 4.1 lb. container of Tomcat with Bromethalin Place Pacs contains 22 pre-measured 3-oz. packs of Tomcat bait to kill rats and mice ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0149L6MY8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #33 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #45 in Pest Control Baits & Lures | | Brand | Tomcat | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,216) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00048745220222 | | Included Components | Pest Control; home-pest-repellents | | Item Form | Other | | Item Type Name | Bait Pail | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Manufacturer | The Scotts Company LLC | | Model Number | BL22022 | | Part Number | 008-22022 | | Target Species | Mouse | | UPC | 048745220222 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Tomcat - **Item Form:** Other - **Item Weight:** 0.27 g - **Target Species:** Mouse - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Tomcat Bromethalin Place Pacs Bait, 4.1 lbs. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51-wlJusyFL.jpg) ![Tomcat Bromethalin Place Pacs Bait, 4.1 lbs. - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/413tqYkDdBL.jpg) ![Tomcat Bromethalin Place Pacs Bait, 4.1 lbs. - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51IvBBsb5QL.jpg) ![Tomcat Bromethalin Place Pacs Bait, 4.1 lbs. - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41k1qKWRBVL.jpg) ![Tomcat Bromethalin Place Pacs Bait, 4.1 lbs. - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41VxEup2VRL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can I just throw these through my attic, or do I need the traps?** A: I use bailing wire to string the bait chunks on and place the in my attic that way they have to eat it they can’t just carry it off. When using in out buildings I make sure to place it out of reach of my dogs. I had one get in some once he climbed on them platform of a bull dozer to get it. It’s easy to tell if they have been in poison their gums will be white **Q: How many blocks in this bucket? Will this kill / harm lizards?** A: It will have to ingest an animal that had enough in its system to die.( a dead poisoned animal would have to be consumed by your lizard, to harm it..) **Q: Does this 4lb. Bait Chunx for certain have a hole through the center?** A: Yes. We take a block of wood and put a long screw thru it and put bait on the screw. Then they can't carry the block away. No pets to worry about. **Q: What's the difference between tomcat's " tier i" and the "tier ii" bait station?** A: From EPA website:https://www.epa.gov/rodenticides/choosing-bait-station-product-household-useReady-to-use bait stations (Tier 1) that have been shown to be resistant to tampering efforts by young children and by dogs and are considered to be weather-resistant may be used indoors and outdoors, within 50 feet of buildings. Tier 2 ready-to-use bait stations have been shown to be resistant to tampering by young children and by dogs but cannot be used outdoors because they are not considered to be weather-resistant bait stations. Tier 3 ready-to-use bait stations have been shown to be resistant to tampering by young children and can be used indoors in area to which pets have no access. Tier 4 ready-to-use bait stations either have not been shown to be tamper-resistant or have not been tested in that regard. Therefore, Tier 4 stations may only be used indoors in areas to which young children and pets have no access, including residences where no young children or pets live or visit. ## Frequently Bought Together - Tomcat Bromethalin Place Pacs Bait, Pest Control for Agricultural Buildings and Homes, Kill Rats and Mice - Tomcat Rodent Station, Includes 1 Rodent Station with 4 Bait Securing Rods and 1 Security Key - Fits Rat or Mouse Sized Traps (Baits & Traps Sold Separately) - Use Indoors or Outdoors --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/71088163-tomcat-bromethalin-place-pacs-bait-4-1-lbs](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/71088163-tomcat-bromethalin-place-pacs-bait-4-1-lbs) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
