I’ve been using this RO system countertop water filter for a little over a year now, and honestly, it’s been great. The water tastes clean and fresh, and there’s no weird smell or aftertaste at all. You can actually tell the difference compared to regular tap water. Setup was pretty simple, and it doesn’t take up much space on the counter, which I like. I use it every single day, and it’s been very consistent with performance. Maintenance hasn’t been a problem either — just basic filter changes when needed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and gives me peace of mind knowing I’m drinking good-quality water. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable countertop RO system.

Like most people, I buy way too much of the bottled water at the market. The tap water in LA is horrible tasting, so you really have no choice. So I decided to splurge on this machine. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Yes, it's expensive, but your water will be cleaner and will taste TERRIFIC. It'll taste way better than the bottled stuff. Right out of the box, you can tell this was a sturdily-built machine. It is sort of big, but not much larger than an expensive espresso machine. Set-up is pretty easy, although you do have to go through a rinse cycle a few times to clear out the charcoal from the filters. I think it took about five cycles or so to clear it up. My tap water was reading at 500-plus in each fill, according to the digital TDS meter. That's not good to drink at all! After going through the cycle, it read around 25 or so. To fill up the entire carafe, it takes less than 10 minutes I believe. Speaking of the carafe, there's a "remineralization" filter at the very top of the carafe, so you get some of the minerals that were taken out from the other filters. Taste-wise, like I said, it's crisp and refreshing! I bought myself a six-pack of BPS free plastic bottles and now I've got my own sustainable bottled water system. Cons: Well, a couple of them. When it goes through the filtering process, it'll output the "good" water. It also filters out the "bad" water. That bad water stays behind in the water container and you pour out it each time you go through a cycle. So, you're losing maybe a 1/5 of the water that you cycled. You can use that to water your plants, etc., but it's a lot of water. There's no overflow meter that shuts off the system. I had the carafe 1/4 full and I hit the cycle at full. Well, it went past the limit line and started pouring out. So, if you're going to filter out water, make sure the carafe is empty each time. Anyway, this still is a terrific buy for some terrific tasting water!

This is an amazing RO filter system. We actually learned about these from our daughters that lives on an Air Force base with some really bad water. People on base recommended to get an RO filter and this was their best option. It's a bit on the pricy side, but sometimes you do get what you pay for, and this is definitely the case. It's super easy to operate and the water tastes great. There is a noticeable difference between our tap water, the filter refrigerator water, and the RO filtered water. We did get the 6 stage, which comes with 4 hard filters, a UV light, and a mineral filter. Everything is installed when it arrives in the box. Filters are already installed, the only item to deal with was placing the mineral filter to the carafe, this just adds small amounts of minerals into the water. We don't notice a difference in taste between using the mineral filter and not. The process it uses does place waste into the water well. Fill it to max, and select the max level to filter into the carafe, and there is still about 1/4 of the reservoir left with water. During the first few runs, which it requires 5 to get the filters ready, you'll see a cloud sent into the reservoir, this is some of the pollutants being removed. Empty the waste and refill for the next one. Easy operation. The LED screed does show filter levels. Reading reviews and reports, the filters should last 12 to 24 months depending on use and how bad the water is that's being filtered. The filters are sold in sets, I've not found any singles. For Coffees and Teas, we definitely notice a difference in the flavors. The drinks are not as harsh and taste cleaner. The water we use measures between 280 and 320. The acceptable government levels for drinking are around 500. The output with our tap water comes out around 12. Our daughter's water on base was 520 to 600, and the filtered water comes out under 100. So it does a good job at filtering. This is an all plastic case. No metals are visible. Boxed really well, comes with instructions. It's really easy to use and pretty much is ready right out of the box. Remove some tap and cushioning, and it's good to fill with water and start the clearing process. Really happy with this one.
