This is the best investment in the dustbin made thus far. The semi-round back fits in well and does not protrude or look ugly, the brushed steel looks classy and it is easy to wipe. The interior is quite sturdy and neat, the bin liners is sturdy and I don't see a leak or spills. The bin liner fits in neat inside, and there's a cover inside that hides the bin liner and doesn't pop out. Pleased with the purchase. The only down side (not really a down side) is you'll have to use custom bin liners (code J) from Simplehuman and they're a tad expensive than the usual ones that you could get in super markets but I wouldn't recommend using the cheap ones, if you buy them in bulk and can store them they work out almost at the same price.

Honestly, since December 2015 we have owned four bins. We left in our old house our 7 yr old simple human bin and foolishly throughh that £100.00 was too much to pay so bought a less expensive bin. Big mistake, we have paid vastly more. So I was a little concerned about this new bin and despite our lay out thus far still felt £100.00 too much to pay. I take it back this bin is fabulous. Not only do the bags fit but the lid opens and closes as required. I can put wet refuse into my bin without getting into a mess. Since 2015 previous bins have not been simplehuman. Bin one opened remotely and closed when it felt like it. Even our cockapoo opened the lid usually on her way to hid as the whiring noise the bin made terrified her. Bin two had a push top which lacerated your hand if you were not careful and sometimes when you believed you were careful.. When it cut the grandchildren it had to go. Bin three. had to have the lid pressed several times to open and at three months died. In the end you had to turn it upside down to open it or use a knife to lift it up Bin four is the simplehiman _ it appears to be the updated version of our previous bin, the bags fit reducing cleaning; the foot penal is robust and easy to clean, the surface is fingerproof resistant - this works my grandchildren have tested it. It has no rough edges and responds when I ask it to and not when it feels like it. Lets hope this gives us anything like the life of my old one pre December 2015. Very happy customer. Thanks

Such a nice looking bin. Silent lid opening/ closing. Great size, fits lots of rubbish in. Currently using the branded liners with it and they fit perfectly, easy to remove once full too which is a bonus as I've found with other cheaper bins the contents gets stuck and rips the bag which isn't the case with this. Only down side is the price but it is worth the money.

OK, so, its expensive. But it really is the best bin i have ever had. Its big, its stylish and its practical. I have been through a fair amount of bins and if i had just got one of these i would have probably saved money in the long run. There is a substantial 10 year warranty. It it currently toddler proof unlike my old bin which the toddler kept opening and leaving open grrrr. The bin liners are expensive but again, they are big and durable. The husband who was initially very unhappy with such an expensive purchase to hold rubbish is converted and agrees its worth the money.

This bin exudes high quality. The machanism to open it is smooth and quite. Stainless steel and easy to wipe clean. Changing the bag is simple. It is very expensive for a bin, but I would give it my most positive comment, which I make for any item I think is outstanding. I would buy it again.

This is a very classy solidly built bin which enhances the look of any kitchen. Highly recommended.

Even though its the most expensive bin Ive ever bought its certainly worth it. Its well made, not easily broken (like most bins) the custom sized bags are also expensive but fit the bin properly, dont split or bust or get stuck in the bin when you try and take them out. It makes it so much easier ! Because it doesnt split or leak the bin stays cleaner so doesnt smell and you havent got that horrible job of cleaning your bin out. Its easy to clean around the top as well, because there are no small crevices or rough areas. Highly recommended !

Looks modern. Like the slow closing lid. Style of bin conceals the bag totally.

I know it's a trash can but it's the PERFECT trash can. The lid opens easily, closes slowly, the finish and fit are perfect and it looks great in our kitchen.

Keeps smells out of the house. Looks great. It says to use special liners, but a regular garbage bag is fine.

Fabulous, effective 👌 I will want one the same when this wears out.
