I got this SOFITEN gel blaster mostly on a whim, but it’s ended up being way more enjoyable than I expected. The build is clean and the plastic feels sturdy - light enough to use without getting tired quickly, but not flimsy. The design looks a little futuristic which I like a lot. Performance is great. Fully automatic and fires quickly, definitely shoots hard enough for backyard games. Battery charges fast and holds enough power for multiple sessions. Would recommend.

This is a super sleek looking gel blaster!! Love the feel of it as well. I bought this gel blaster for my teenage son (and let’s be honest, for myself too), and it’s been a total blast — literally. It shoots fast and hard, easily over 100 feet, and the accuracy is way better than I expected. The rate of fire is crazy — once you pull the trigger, it just keeps going! This gel blaster is fun, however, the 180+ FPS as advertised is not accurate. Look below for areas and categories I reviewed blaster in performance. Putting the rounds through a chronograph. It was registering 125 average, with 125 being high end and 105 fps on the lower end. Battery life: 4/5 Stars - Battery life is decent. Has battery life indicator of how much life is left. Pretty cool but possibly drains battery life to illuminate display. If playing conservatively you'll get about 2.5 - 3 hours max of play time with a full charge. If you're playing more aggressively (Running Non Stop backyard "Missions" aka Capture the flag, attacking base type play) 1.5 - 2 hours max. Accuracy: 3/5 Stars - At ranges from 25ft or less you'll hit your target ALMOST spot on. With a little angling from ranges beyond that, you'll likely miss your target. This type of SMG is for close range play. Magazine/Ammo Capacity: 4/5 Stars The magazine holds roughly 200 Obreez. Which is about average size and is great when playing. You wont run out of ammo fast while playing and the Orbeez feed properly with little feeding problems. Assembly: 5/5 Stars - Pretty much ready to go right out of the box. No special tools needed. Simplistic design, only assembly required is charging battery, putting magazine in and dot sight if you want it. Ergonomics: 4/5 Stars - This surprisingly has a great feel. Fits in small hands comfortably, does not have bulky pistol grip. Major plus. Has foldable buttstock which LOCKS!!!!! Yes, this company got it right. FPS: 2.5/5 Stars - After all the great things I wrote, this is the products downfall. Claims to have 180+ fps. This is simply not true. When put through a chronograph it barely reached 125fps while firing 8 round per sec. Talk about a drop in power. Realistically this thing churns out maybe 115 FPS. THIS IS NOT FOR SERIOUS GAME PLAY. You will get crushed. This is for beginners getting into gel blasters and maybe kids from 6-12 years of age. Miscellaneous: 4/5 Stars. Ok, Let's end on a positive note. Comes with safety glasses, safety is important. Laser Dot sight is a nice touch of looking professional, but is not accurate for aim. Flashlight is bright enough for backyard play, again, this type of gel blaster IS NOT FOR SERIOUS GAME PLAY. Comes with a lot of Obreez for playing. Majorly cool. Overall 3.7/5 Stars. Rounding to 4 stars, because I believe this a great entry level, beginner blaster. Fun for Adults to plink soda cans or for kids under 12 to run around and have fun. NOT FOR SERIOUS GAME PLAY. Please Change 180+ FPS advertisement. NOT CORRECT AT ALL.
