As advertised, no issues as of yet, and the eye balls contain night lights and that was what I was looking for. Love the larger screen.

This baby monitor is absolute garbage. I am so disappointed, because this product is exactly what I wanted in a baby monitor. Most baby monitors either use the 2.4ghz band with a dedicated parent unit, which interferes with wifi. Or they don't have a parent unit at all and require using an app on a phone or tablet. The former causes wifi interference in my home network and doesn't have good range. The latter is not something I'm interested in: I want a dedicated parent unit. Unfortunately, this monitor falls short. For context, I'm a tech enthusiast and software engineer by trade, so I understand how to set up a wifi network. I have a hard wired backhaul with high performance Wifi 6 routers. So believe me when I tell you that my wifi network is highly optimized and I consistently get high bandwidth throughout my house, tested on many different clients. Yet these monitors consistently lose the wifi signal. The parent unit regularly gets disconnected from the cameras for seemingly no reason, both in wifi mode and direct mode. The camera feed when working has a great picture, but the signal gets degraded into a blurry mess regularly. I'm not even sure if I can enumerate all the other problems. The talk feature is completely unusable. The split screen has no audio. The back-and-forth mode only lasts for 5 seconds on each camera but it takes 2-3 seconds to connect, leaving almost no time on each cycle. The app is barely functional and logs you out regularly. This has been such a frustrating experience and I'm so disappointed in wasting my money on this product.

I was scared off this product by the flood of bad reviews and ended up buying another system and totally regretted it. This system is fantastic! While the LCD screen is laughably large, it is perfect for the 2 camera views. The nightlight feature is really slick with a useful timer, the ability to zoom and still pan around is a must, and the ease of install is so convenient. No, the talk back function doesn't always work but it won't convince my kids that I'm there with them anyway. And there is a 1-2sec delay in the footage, but I don't see that as a problem. If my kid is awake and crying, seeing them 1 sec earlier doesn't change anything about the safety of the situation. Occasionally it loses signal, but be patient and it will come back, or close and reopen the app. My cell phone drops signal sometimes too, that's life! I love the vtech system and regret buying another system with better reviews. The camera resolution is amazing, I LOVE THE APP capability that allows me to check in from afar, and I like the user friendly system. Buy this!
