Reel is pretty cheap but seems to work fine
Bought this for my 7yo son who has taken a huge interest in fishing. He’s caught black rock bass on the Oregon coast and walleye and perch here in WA. It’s held up great but the reel feels pretty cheap and I don’t anticipate it lasting too long. The rod has good backbone and is sensitive enough for light bites.
