The automizer on the bottle is satisfactory so there's no mess.I guess it's working. I don't get any build up around my piercings from using this. I use this in conjunction with my saline spray as a way the clean and refresh my piercings during the healing process. Especially if I have a piercing bump. I think I'll still stick to my Base Labs line because I get more and it works just as good if not better... I got my cartilage and tragus pierced at the end of April. I started developing a piercing bump around the inside and outside of my tragus. First off, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to sleep on it, so that in itself helped create the bumps. I tried other suggested ointments that didn't work, but I was gonna use it all, then I ran across this on Amazon...but it was from overseas, the reviews were great, so why not try it. I finally received it, after 2 to 3 weeks. I started noticing results within the first 48 hours. I could see the shrinkage and drying up of the piercing bump.
