Saved My Pool Pump
About a month ago, my pool pump breaker started tripping whenever the pump kicked on. I’d have to reset the breaker a couple of times before it would finally start running. Then, a few days ago, it wouldn’t come on at all. Naturally, I thought I’d need a new pump, and those aren’t cheap! So, I decided to take off the cover plate to check the wiring—everything seemed fine. Then it hit me: I should test the motor start capacitor. Sure enough, it was dead. I headed to Rexal, but they didn’t have one in stock, so I turned to Amazon. I found a replacement capacitor for just $9, which arrived the next day. I installed it, and just like that, the pump fired right up, no more tripped breaker! Eventually, I’ll need to replace the pump, but not today.

Easy Install. Highly recommend.
Perfect replacement for my pool pump capacitor which had stopped working. Mine had three push-on wire connectors. Turn off the breaker to your pump. Discharge the old capacitor by placing a screwdriver between the connectors. Take a picture oi the old wiring connections, remove the push on wire connectors from the old capacitor using a needle nose plier. Push the wires onto the new capacitor in the same orientation. Secure the new capacitor with its retaining clip. Turn on the breaker, Done! 5-minute job.

Start capacitor
My original start capacitor in my 20-year-old HF lathe gave up this ghost. This start capacitor fixed the issue.

works but the item description for dimensions is incorrect
Item fixed my motor start issues on my well pump, however, the dimension measurements were not correct, this capacitor was smaller than than the advertised size, not a major issue, but it does not sit snuggly in the capacitor holder on the side of the motor.

Fixed my 1/3 HP Drill Press.
Fixed my 1/3 HP Drill Press. Spent some time overthinking the issue...what's the exact replacement part? Got sick of hand starting my drill press, so I ordered this one and it works great. A capacitor is a wear part, so I hope it lasts a good while. The End. I hope you enjoyed this review.
