Review: I thought that it was slightly too small until I accepted that it's not a "jacket" jacket. It's sort of between a shirt and a jacket in terms of thickness. By thinking of it as a slightly thicker, more durable long-sleeve shirt, I came to terms with the fit, and it looks sharp. Now, since it has a modern, fitted design, it does mean there are slight issues when trying to express full range of motion if you plan on using this to practice Kung Fu or another martial art. Specifically, like a suit jacket, stretching your arms above your head will cause the bottom to ride up, and bringing your arms together in the front will stretch the back horizontally. This was off-putting for me when I was trying it on for the first time, but I've gotten over it. Full range of motion is still attainable; just be prepared to feel the jacket resisting you. The top frog button is hard to fasten, but if you're like me, you'll appreciate that because it probably means it's more securely in place. The pockets are a nice touch as well. I use them to hold my keys and phone while I head out to practice. In conclusion, this product is pretty much exactly as advertised. By having a fitted design, it naturally offers less complete freedom of motion. If that worries you, then look elsewhere for a bigger, more traditional jacket (or maybe order a size up? Not at all sure if that would solve it though). If you're not bothered, then this product will serve you well.

This is my VERY FAVORITE GARMENT. When I first got it, it felt just a little stiff and scratchy, as linen sometimes will. But I washed it, and it softened just beautifully. This jacket is somehow both warm AND cool! Where I live, it’s often cold in the mornings and quite warm in the afternoons, and this jacket is perfect all day long. It’s reversible, so the two different colors mean it goes with practically everything in my closet! Also, the pockets are big enough for a phone, a wallet, whatever you need to carry. I know it’s technically a man’s jacket, but the shape is so elegant and classic, I love how it looks! I immediately ordered one in another color. I’m a fan for life. UPDATE!!!! I’ve had this jacket for six years now, and it’s still 100% my favorite garment. It says “hand wash” in the description, but I’ve washed it in the machine and dried it in the dryer at least a hundred times, I’m guessing, and it’s still perfect. Looking at my photo, I can tell the color has mellowed a bit, but not much, and it’s no less gorgeous. No loose threads or weak stitches on this baby, not a one! EXCELLENT craftsmanship. ❤️❤️

I would have wanted the color to be more white than the beige it is. The black side is fine. There's no fancy detail,but I wasn't expecting any. It's the frog buttons that commands the attention. In other words, a full length YKK zipper wouldn't do. It's is my first purchase and l like it. I have bought a few other Kung fu ones more fancy, but I like this one for the times and occasions where I want to be subtle. I am 5'7" tall,muscular build,190lbs. Ordered XX-large. Usually,North America Xl would do. Hope this helps because even though the venders warn you about "asian sizing vs North America",I found that wasn't enough to go by.
