This bread stays fresh for a month or longer. It makes great sandwiches and French toast.

Great for French toast , reminds me of Texas toast

We like this bread. It's very soft and tastes good. What I don't like is how Amazon Fresh delivers it. Almost always, they pack it in a big bag with heavy items. Even though they put the bread on top, it still gets smashed, because when you pick up a heavy bag by the handle, the sides close in and can crush something soft, like this bread. I wish Amazon Fresh would either put the bread in a separate bag by itself -- or even better -- come up with a little box for breads and other soft goods. It doesn't have to be an expensive corrugated box, just something lightweight that will keep the bread from being crushed. UPDATE 12-04-2019: Over one year later, and Amazon still doesn't know how to pack a loaf of bread. Today's bread came packed in a bag with a 141-ounce leaking bottle of laundry detergent. The bread was smashed and covered in liquid laundry detergent. The only thing that's changed: the bags no longer have handles. That didn't help one bit; in some cases, it makes it worse. When I order from W**mart Grocery Delivery (you know who I mean), at least they put bread in its own separate bag... eggs, too.

Great bead, but if you order from amazon, make surr you do not also order bananas for they will squash the bread with the bananas on top.
