This is the real deal. The resin is sweet and beautiful. When you open the pouch you can smell the quality right away. If you are familiar with frankincense, you will know a little about the kind of smell associated with it. So imagine that classic frankincense smell, but really clean, fresh, and slightly citrussy. It's definitely an uplifting aroma. The tears are quite small, and definitely not green like you see in the picture. More like borderline green in some of the tears. The tears do burn quickly, and if used on charcoal, you will get through this bag quickly. Tea light burners will give a cleaner scent, and last longer. But the smell will not get around the house so much with a tea light burner. So it depends what you want from your frankincense. Value for money is not great. You don't get a lot for your money. But you will get top tier quality

I'm a bit of a gumaholic, (I buy it by the case) and I can go through several sticks in a very short time. I recently read an article about plastics that have been discovered in gum, and even though I use sugar-free gum, I knew I had to cut back. I rarely drink out of plastic bottles and store food in glass, so I was disappointed to find out that I'd been ingesting plastic this way! Frankincense is so good for you, (quells inflammation), and I use a great quality essential oil by mouth, but I thought I'd try this Frankincense gum as an alternative to regular gum. * First off, hold it in your mouth for a few minutes before you begin chewing or it'll fall apart and stick to your teeth. After it's warmed up, it's similar enough to chewing gum. The taste isn't sweet at all, but the taste is not as strong as the essential oil I use, so I don't think it's bad at all. Mild, even. This is a great option for me, and I'll buy more when I run out. I'm glad to have discovered another option.

I use it for natural benefits when infused with water.
