Good venison. Novel protein. Cats like it
Love that this is just venison jerkey. I have an ibs chicken allergy cat and finding novel protein that has no chicken or anything else is hard. They had a hard time figuring out how to eat it, but now they seek it out. I have to soak it a bit for my ole man. Good quality fresh, I use it with 3 other venison or rabbit foods that have no chicken. Usually good quality venison products go out of stock quick so I needed to have a few options in case one was not avail. This is a favorite

ZIWIPEAK MADE MY SICK AND MISERABLE CAT INTO A HEALTHY AND HAPPY CAT!
I adopted my cat in 2014. Even though I had her on an expensive grain free diet, it quickly became apparent to me that she had some severe medical issues that had not been relayed to me. The worst of these problems were a nasty and chronic anal gland discharge that was making her absolutely miserable. She also had horrible dry, "crusty" patches on her skin. Her fur always looked and felt dirty, and she had horrible dandruff. After a year of routine and painful drainage of her anal glands by Vets, and expensive Vet bills - but receiving no real help from Vets, I decided to take my fur baby's problems into my own hands. I did a lot of reading, and came to the conclusion that she had many food allergies, and needed to be put on a "novel food" program. I did extensive research on cat foods, and after much trial and error, decided on Ziwipeak. I started with the Lamb dry cuisine, although she now also eats the Venison, and sometimes the Mackerel/Lamb. A convenient scoop is included in each bag, so you know exactly how much you should feed your cat each day, according to their weight. Ziwipeak is quite expensive, but since it corrected my fur baby's medical issues, the cost is well worth it to me. After about two weeks on Ziwipeak, my cat had no more anal gland issues! Next, her skin became clear, her fur was silky and smooth, and she had no more dandruff. My cat really loves canned food, and it is also better for cats, but to feed an exclusive diet of a GOOD canned food (at $3.00 or $4.00 a can), it can become extremely expensive. So lately, I have been taking about a heaping Tablespoon of canned food (usually Ziwipeak Mackerel/Lamb or Rabbit), and I mix that with a little bottled water (to avoid chlorine), until it's a slightly "soupy" consistency. I then add in a scoop of the Ziwipeak dry cuisine. If the mixture is too dry, I just add a little more water to moisten. I then warm the food in the microwave for about 10 seconds, or to room temperature. It has worked great. It is healthy for my cat, and it gives her the moisture of canned food. But, most of all, she absolutely loves it, and her medical issues are still a thing of the past! I sincerely hope that my comment will be helpful to other loving cat owners whose cats have similar problems.

This cat food is terribly overpriced.
When I placed the order I saw it was $47.00 plus for 14 ounces. I was sure it had to be a typo, but it wasn’t. The seller was very accommodating and understanding.

Okay, but expensive!
I thought I was buying this in lbs, not ounces. It is a very small bag and very expensive! Too expensive to make this my cats dry food choice. The cats liked it okay, but they weren't in love with it, so I didn't purchase again.

Great for some sensitive tummies 🩷
We fed these to our Bengal girl and I’ve been giving these to my IBD kitty for a few years with her vet prescription food. They don’t make her sick at all!

Great Solution for a Finicky Eater
Try as I might, I could not get my shelter cat of 4 years to accept commercial wet or raw food. Once they're this age, it's extremely difficult to change old habits. This is a dry food of comparatively excellent quality, and it satisfies even my stubborn dry-food enthusiast. I just need to be sure to provide him with adequate water (provided with a pet fountain, as he won't drink water that isn't moving). Considering his limitations, it's the best option out there.

Good for Dog training treats
These are good quality and a small size, perfect for an instant reward when training. A friend recommended this so I am trying them but I’m not sure how cost-effective it will be since I go through so many

if you love your friend, here's the healthiest choice.
I've been making my own pet food for years and modifying the recipe as I learned more about the nutritional needs of either cat or dog. That said, there was only so much I could spend, so many places I could drive to nab the best ingredients, and only so much time in the day (every 3 days ) to make a new batch of food. Thank the stars for this product which outdoes even the homemade raw stuff...air dried so it's as close to raw as you'll come and full of super nutrient dense organ meat and micronutrients. My cat won't even bother to cry for cooked salmon or turkey anymore.
