I was excited to try this but this is not as expected. Leaves a very tacky, not smooth finish on the hair.

So let me start off by explaining why I got this product in the first place. For the past 5 or 6 years I have had issues with my scalp. In between washes, my hair would get extremely oily & have a weird smell to it. My family said they didn’t smell it, but I could smell it & it would make me self conscious. After I wash it, it would get extremely itchy. And when I say extremely, I mean, like I wanted to claw my scalp off, itchy. And I have tried everything!! Nothing would work, except for one product that came in a tiny little bottle & was super expensive. Well, I came across this amazing product about a month ago. And it has literally changed my hair, my scalp & my confidence!!! It says on the jar to use it 1-2 times a week. And so far, I have only used it just once (a few weeks ago) & I haven’t had to use it since then. (And yes I’ve washed my hair since then) My scalp has not itched AT ALL!!! It feels so amazing!! It doesn’t smell, it feels so fresh & clean & it has literally put volume & shine back into my once limp, dull hair. When I used it, I scooped out some of the product & put it on my scalp (while my hair is wet) & massaged it in with my fingers until it got really sudsy. Then I used the little spiky silicone, scrub brush that came with it. And to be honest, I was a little worried about the brush at first because it is softer than I thought it would be. I assumed it would be stiffer. But nonetheless, it did the job! I left it in for just a few minutes, wet it & massaged it some more before I rinsed it out really well. It had a very cool, fresh, minty feel to it & it felt SO good! As I was rinsing my hair out, it was literally squeaky, squeaky clean!! Honestly, my hair hasn’t looked or felt this good in years! This product is absolutely amazing & I highly recommend it!! I wish I would’ve taken before & after photos. I may just add ‘after’ photos or a video later. I assume that my scalp issue was probably due to buildup. I really don’t use a lot of product in my hair, but I do dye my roots every 3-6 months. So my guess is that’s what could’ve caused the issue originally. But if you have build up, itchy scalp, or oily scalp. TRY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I’m telling you, it is absolutely amazing!

I have fine hair which is halfway down my back. My roots can get oily quickly. I don't typically have flaky dandruff, but I do get some build up and use a scalp scrubber once or twice a week. I purchased this to try it out as part of a routine heading into the winter months. I didn't have any expectations; just hoped that it would smell nice and not leave my hair oily after treatment. I loved this product! I wet my hair in the shower and used small amounts to scrub gently at my roots with my fingertips (I didn't use the scrubber that it came with). The mixture became pretty dry and was a little hard to spread out, but it also helped to exfoliate my scalp. Then I rewet my hair, and THE SUDS! It immediately foamed up and the scrub disintegrated and I washed it out of my hair. It smelled great - not too strongly of any one thing, which is good because I'm not a big fan of the small of rosemary. I was able to lather my hair up and when I washed it out there was no greasy or oily after feeling. I used my normal conditioner and allowed to air dry. My hair is soft, the roots are not oily, no residue or anything. I would purchase again for sure.
