This is my second one and I love it.
I installed one of these YEARS ago on my 2012 R1200GS and it works extremely well. It stays on, it does the job, really helps when / if I get a cramp or if my hand gets tired. Then, last spring, I got a 2023 K1600GTL! I thought, "OK, this thing has cruise control. No need for a crampbuster.". Well, cruise control is great and all. But, for those moments where you just want a quick stretch or if you're in a situation where cruise control isn't a good idea and would make for a poor life decision, this crampbuster is the perfect solution. It's cheap and simple and makes a world of difference. On a side note, I have this installed on my K1600GTL with the grip puppies over the hand grips. Fits fine with no issues. My R1200GS? I have it installed with out the grip puppies. Also fits fine with out issues.

Must-Have for Long Rides – Even Works with Heated Grips
This CB4 Black Throttle Mounted Motorcycle Cruise Assist has been a total game-changer for long trips. It does exactly what it's supposed to—relieves wrist strain and cramping so I can ride longer without discomfort. I used to get sore after a couple of hours, but with this installed, it takes a huge load off my throttle hand. One of the best parts is that it even fits over my heated grips without any issue, which I was a little concerned about at first. Installation was simple, and it stays secure while riding. If you do any kind of touring or long-distance riding, I highly recommend adding this to your setup. It's a small accessory that makes a big difference!

Does the job
Does the job well. The clip grips well with the included rubber band, and you can adjust mid-ride without taking your eyes off the road. It feels uncomfortable for the first few minutes of the ride, but it's a huge relief after fatigue sets in.

Simple but works!
Beats all other speed controllers. Eliminates hand and wrist cramping. Inexpensive and simple. Only thing is you can't remove your hand from the throttle, but only need to use your palm or wrist to operate it. I have another a cheap throttle lock but never use it now.

Works, somewhat.
I ride a Suzuki Boulevard. This went on easy on the stock grips. It works well, when it works, but does not stay in place. When I first set it, it feels great, but after a few minutes I start to notice deceleration due to slippage. I have to grip this tighter than I would have to hold the grips, causing more discomfort than not using it. It resets easily and is easy to get out of the way when not needed, but it has caused some accidental whiskey throttles while trying to get used to it. With a second rubber ring, it may work better, but they don't sell them separately.

Does what it advertises
Does what it says on the box Installation is beyond easy and takes a total of 10 seconds. I really love these things and find them useful for virtually all aspects of riding, not just for helping take some strain off your wrist during highway cruising. But like virtually anything else, I can see how some might not like it. For 10 bucks and 10 seconds of installation, it's worth giving a try. The only thing I question about the instructions is that it says the use of the included rubber-band is "optional" if the fit is loose to give the plastic loop something to bite down on. I don't see how this thing would function very well or very reliably if you didn't let it ride on top of that rubber band. I've got some pretty thick grips and even with mine, the plastic piece would just flip around losey-goosey without using it.
