These plugs are simple to use and show you a nice clean dashboard. Also the remote on/off function is convenient and works great for pranks around the house.

It was not so easy to set up. Once I finally got the 2 working, they worked for about a day. I could send on/off commands and see the power consumption. Hours later they would not communicate anymore. Removed from app and started over. They setup again, but when I try to send it a command, it just eventually times out. I moved everything closer to my wi-fi router to see if that was the issue. Not even in the same room would it work. UPDATE: The seller contacted me and gave me some tips to try. I asked them if Internet was required for it to work. They said no, but it will limit functionality. In the app it shows the two devices with a cloud picture with a strike out. This tells me you can set the device up via Bluetooth, but then it reverts to mandatory cloud connection. My devices are setup to NOT require the Internet to operate. I do this through my own DNS server and that blocked the Internet connection and the devices stopped working. Not for me, sent them back.

Need to disconnect power every week to get it working again. Major pain.Don’t use for anything of importance.Better yet, don’t use it at all.
