I typically wear a medium size T shirt but this jacket fit well as a large for me. I wear a triple layer base a t shirt, long sleeve v-neck and then a medium fleece jacket underneath the alpine parka and it fit well. The only downside to this jacket is the main zipper, it was a problem from the start because it won't start together easily. I will eventually have to have it replaced if I want to keep using the jacket. Also the inside pockets are small but if I'm going to have the zipper fixed I could have larger pockets installed as well. I would have given 5 stars if the coat had one alteration. The DAMN ZIPPER!! It is the most frustrating zipper that I have to deal with. I don't understand why can't it be a standard zipper instead of two that needs to aligned perfectly to zip up.
