Stoney End US Dulcimer - Walnut

This arrived virtually unplayable. The action was far too high, I could have lowered it by inserting a new nut and bridge or even cutting the original down a touch. I felt I shouldn't have to do this on a new instrument so returned it and had a full refund.

Dulcimer sounded nice till I tried to play anything that required bass strings. My son examined it and explained that the intonation was wildly out, missed the return deadline so will have to fork out to fix a £200 instrument.

I am new to playing the dulcimer . although i do play several other instruments , this is a step up from my first cheaper dulcimer that i purchased to try out . I am pleased with it and i feel it is a very nice instrument. Fast delivery.
