Watch is OK, fairly small, so if you have large wrists I wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful watch, I love the size - I hate those big, gaudy watches that are huge.... Unfortunately, I am a stickler for little details. I bought this watch because the image clearly shows "made in Japan", but the watch received does not have that marking, most likely meaning this one is made in Malaysia or somewhere else - sure, Japanese parts, but not a true made in Japan timepiece.

I purchased this watch for my husband's birthday. When opened the watch on his birthday, it was already running and there was nothing holding the stem in place like I have seen with other watches. I wanted to send it back since it appeared to have been returned. He said no it was fine since I had gotten it for him. A week after his birthday, he mentioned that the watch was randomly stopping and he would have to reset it to get it running. I said I will return it. We missed the return date by 1 day. I did not realize that it was such a short return on watches, but I have learned my lesson.

Great watch. The silver numbers really pop off the blue dial. Looks much better in person.

I've been looking for a new watch to replace my daily wear Bullova chrono. So far this Seiko 5 seems like a very nice watch that you dont need to baby. Exactly what I was looking for. I've only worn it for the first day and looks to be about -5 sec/day so far. Better than I expexted actually and it looks great with the included bracelet. Removing a couple links to size was easy, the band has arrows stamped into the links to show the direction the pins come out. I haven't tried my NATO or leather bands yet, but should look great being a field watch.
