I often find that we have too many toys strewn about, and yet they’re too few when it comes to what the babies/kids actually need. That’s why I especially appreciate toys that have multiple uses. This toy covers many needs. - It can easily be put up in the crib to keep the baby entertained when they wake up (and you still want to sleep!) In this sense, it’s even better than a crib mobile that needs to be turned on. This remains stimulating without a parent having to turn anything on. - It’s really great for tummy time, especially when they’re really young and can’t yet turn pages. So while I wouldn’t call this a book, it’s useful for when the babies can’t yet use a proper book. There are stimulating “pages” such as a mirror, sliding airplane, crinkling sounds and touch… - The reason some pages are black and white, while others are colored, is because newborns don’t yet differentiate colors. They are more stimulated with black and white, sharply defined designs. Since this toy has both - colored and black and white - it serves babies through a long stretch of time. - The teether is especially helpful. It’s also helpful that it’s attached to the book. So it’s always within reach of the baby. Though other reviewers are concerned about the strings being a hazard for babies, personally I don’t share that concern. The strings are really short (as you can see in my photo), and in my opinion, completely safe. Of course, this assumes a parent is always nearby, as should be the case with anything. Though I’ve seen such books at slightly lower prices, the price difference isn’t that much higher to make me think this is unfair. Overall, this toy is really useful in so many ways.

Ich habe das Kontrastbuch für unser 2 Monate altes Baby gekauft und bin wirklich begeistert! Die Schwarz-Weiß-Muster sind perfekt für die frühe Sehentwicklung – mein Baby schaut total fasziniert darauf und versucht sogar, die Bilder mit den Händen zu berühren. Besonders toll finde ich den kleinen Spiegel, der die Aufmerksamkeit zusätzlich fesselt. Das Buch ist aus angenehm weichem Stoff gefertigt, gut verarbeitet und absolut sicher für Babys – keine harten oder scharfen Teile. Es lässt sich leicht zusammenfalten und überallhin mitnehmen. Besonders praktisch: man kann es mit den Bändchen auch gut am Kinderwagen, Laufstall oder an der Babyschale befestigen, damit es nicht runterfällt. Ein wirklich tolles Spielzeug, das nicht nur unterhält, sondern auch die Wahrnehmung fördert. Absolute Kaufempfehlung – ideal als Geschenk für Neugeborene!

Les contrastes sont parfaits pour stimuler sa vision, et les dessins sont variés et adaptés à son âge. Le format est pratique, elles tiennent bien en place et sont faciles à utiliser à la maison comme en déplacement. Je recommande vivement à tous les parents qui cherchent un support simple et efficace pour éveiller la curiosité visuelle de leur bébé
