This is the real deal. NOT a grocery store so called energy or health bar. I’ve actually had to use after a month of bacterial infection left me in the hospital. I lived off these for over a month! While that’s extreme I lost 18 lbs was under a hundred pounds so I know these work. I still eat or a day to make sure I get the important supplements daily besides my vitamins. These helped me recover from a dire Heath crisis. Def recommend to anyone whether sick or healthy! Ck the labeled against anything in stores this is the real deal. I couldn’t take the one w chocolate bc my system couldn’t tolerate it. If you need to recover from anything or just want extra energy this is not junk this is health food.

I'm not a personal trainer, but I am a health nut, and I have a few friends who are the same way. We have tried MANY different bars, including Atkins, MetRx, PowerBar, Zone, Balance, Luna, GoLean, Detour, Myoplex, CarboLite, Advantage, and other "40-40-30" bars. This bar is one of the best tasting bars I've eaten. The green color worried me at first, but the flavor and nutritive qualities of this bar make it hands down the best. We visited a health store for about two hours one day to compare the ingredients on this bar versus all the others. It is perfectly balanced, has no saturated fat (only 4g of mono-unsat, and 1g of poly unsat), and also has NO hydrogenated oils. This is VERY important, and if you don't know about how harmful hydrogenated oils can be, you should definitely read more about them. In many stores you will find this bar for about $2.40, discounted to $2.11. Here on the site it's an incredible deal to find the everyday price of $2.09 discounted to $1.67 per bar. I ordered 5 boxes! I think I'll order another 5-10 (since they'll keep up to 6-7 months) if the sale lasts longer. Hopefully they'll go on sale again. I didn't enjoy the chocolate flavored version, since I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but if you are (as is one of my friends), they said the chocolate version is just as good. I hope this company keeps making these for years to come!

So I've been eating these for a very long time, probably more than a decade. Recently, along with the new packaging they implemented a new recipe. This new recipe made the bars taste substantially worse. They also went down in protein count. It used to be 10 grams and now it's 9. I used to love these bars, and am disappointed that they declined so much. I hope they will go back to the older recipes or find a new one that is better. The pre-pandemic ones tasted the best. They started to decline a little but now they've gone completely downhill.

These people make really exceptional products that deserve way more attention than they get. This is another example. The sugar in this is Tapioca Syrup, which is low GI and the result is that it's not icky sweet like a Cliff Bar, which is stuffed full of sugar. That's just one example of a long list of exceptional ingredients that are worth checking out. They give it an oaty, nutty, grassy taste that I really like – it reminds me that it's not pretending to be a cookie.

When the bars arrived, they were noticeably harder than the ones I buy instore (wholefoods) although they had not expired, they were far from fresh and not as tasty UPDATED 2/2023 I tried these a second time and this time they were much softer and tastier

Unlike other nutrition bars full of sugar and starch, this is the MOST Fantastic bars I've ever had. I'm diabetic, so I have to be careful of what I eat. The balance of proteins to carbs is very good, plus the fact that the main carbs in this bar is greens and sea vegetables and some dates, plus soy protein, and some almond butter for fat. The best thing is it is NOT supersweet, but a natural sweetness. I am supersensitive to foods that are man-made and processed, and this is a natural food. There are no chemicals or processes in it. It is also alkaline based food, so those of you watching your acid/alkaline in your diet and your blood, this is a great thing. It doesn't promote up and down spikes of your blood sugars, but keeps your blood sugar at an even keel. Less spikes in blood sugar means less insulin means you don't gain weight. This bar has real nutition in it. This is the only energy bar I will eat now.

I like having high quality healthy bars with me if I am traveling on the road or wherever I am going. Tastes delicious to me and easy to open and take a quick easy and healthy bite. I’d buy more

It's a great bar very nutritional, and not too sweet. It has a wonderful texture just like Fig Newtons, from when I was little boy. I buy these bars by the boxes, because they certainly outbest any nutritional bar on the market to my knowledge. Most of those other brands tastes more like candy bars, and less like nutrional bars. I always feel guilty after eating one of those other bars. Cool thing is these bars have 10 grams of protein, and doesn't taste like chalk. I guess I am a fan.

I loved the ingredient list but once I tried these, I found the texture kind of funny (weird). I had hoped I would grow to like them, but no, sorry.. I can't recommend them. The taste is blah, kind of like an over processed food, really, though it is not according to the list. It is ok but not really something I would buy again. I didn't find any health benefit from eating them, unlike other health bars I have tried. I'm going back to my favorite - Whole Earth & Sea Organic Greens Protein Bars (they are greens and chocolate coated which is nice, too). I liked the ingredient list on this bar better, but the taste/texture makes it a no go for me.
