RoadPro DCB-111BK Padded Clipboard with Inside Pocket

This may be the best looking, most durable folio style clipboard I have ever owned. The pad clip is tight and strong. The whole pad is covered with heavy rip-stop nylon, and the exterior fold is protected by a faux leather "elbow" patch. There are 3 pockets on the inside of the front cover-board: a 6 x 7 in. vertical pocket with a zippered mesh pocket right on top of it, and a 10.5 in. tall side insert pocket. I don't know what the cover boards are made of, but are at least heavy-duty cardboard. I am very impressed with the quality of this clipboard. It will definitely be my new go-to general use folio clipboard.Now the why for the 4-star rating: The pockets are too small to hold an unfolded 8.5 x 11 in. sheet of paper. The material on the surface under clip is the same heavy mesh material as most of the rest of the clipboard...if only someone had thought to use the same faux leather as the hinge reinforcement it would be possible to write on a single sheet of paper if necessary. Finally, there is no pen loop in the inside fold, so pens must be clipped to the vertical pocket or place inside the zipper pocket. This forces the cover to bow around the pen when carried closed, and may cause the board inserts to break if they are cardboard rather than plastic.

I have had this Clipboard for a couple weeks now and everything works good on it. It fits nicely in my folio and slides out easily for use. All the stitching and build of the Clipboard works perfectly and I have had no problems with it at all. It arrived on time and there has been nothing to speak of that is bad. The only thing that I would change would be to add a hidden folder behind the Note pad.And maybe add a storage zipper type bag that folds out from behind the Left side folder.

I really like this product. It is more limber than expected but I am liking that. It protects my papers and provides a portable writing surface with a pen near at hand. The card holder, zipper pouch and storage pocket work great. I do wish it had storage foe 8.5 X 11 paper but this is not a big deal for me. I can just leave those sheets in the clipboard. Very useful product at a good price. I hope lt lasts a long time.

Was shown to have a badge in bottom corner but delivered one doesn't have it. My son was very disappointed with it

I got this for my fiancee who transports patients to and from hospitals so he needs to document constantly. He's had it for 7 months and uses it everyday. So far it's held up pretty good. The pockets/flaps are really convenient for all of his documents, pens, etc. Would recommend!

I gave this product 4 stars because it works well and functions like it should. I did not give it a full 5 stars because it feels a little chinsy. For the money I think it was an ok purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing one and is on a budget.

Love the inside pockets and zipper pouch. Also love the business card slot for easy availability and the side pen holder is perfect. I have been using this for a long time and the design has proven to be sturdy. Well worth the cost of the item!

This seems to be a nice product but there is a tag that says " This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects." What is going on with this...
