LOVE Rechargeable Batteries
I have too many things that I use on a regular basis that use batteries to throw them away. So, now I'm using rechargeable batteries. This charger works great and I feel good about keeping them out of the landfill.

Junk
The pictures show the style with plastic backed sliders. That is NOT what I got. I had a version with the plastic backed sliders that lasted years, it is now down to 3 of 4 working slots. During that time I bought a second one (twice) for the RV that has the metal sliders. With very little use the sliders bend rendering the entire thing useless. When I saw the picture I thought finally the other style, got the crap metal slider version. I give up and will not be buying another from Everready. I will use the existing until it fails (likely soon) then toss it. Stay away and find another brand is my recommendation.

Suitable for different sizes.
So far I have used it for AA, AAA and D. They all charge well in pairs. The light indicators let's you know if the batteries are bad. There is separate indicator for each pair so you know which one is fully charged.

Bought another brand for same price and it was junk died after 2nd use. The energizer charger is working great no problems so far . Buy brand name

Compré este cargador junto con unas baterías tipo D. Es un excelente cargador y muy confiable. Los LEDS te indican cuando se está cargando la batería. Y se apagan cuando la batería está totalmente cargada. Es un producto que debes tener en caso de usar frecuente baterías alcalinas. Con este cargador solo compras las baterías recargables de metal hidruro y listo, tienes unas baterías con un ciclo de vida de más de 5 años. Garantizado. De verdad estoy contento con mi compra.

Purchased some rechargeable batteries (sizes D, AA, and AAA) and no issues charging. I like that the green light bar goes off when the charging is complete. It was a few more dollars than other chargers but it is ETL certified and wanted a charger that was tested for electrical safety.
