I used this grit-guard once since I received it. It doesn’t fit flat onto the bottom of a standard Lowe’s bucket, the diameter of the guard is too big. But, I used it at an angle in the bottom of the bucket and it worked fine. The plastic feels sturdy and strong. The holes are plenty big enough to allow particles to drop to the bottom of the bucket. It worked well, never floated up in the water and was easy to remove when finished. It gave me good peace of mind knowing/thinking small particles that could scratch the car paint are trapped in the bottom of the bucket below the guard and not able to get on the wash towel.I recommend this product.

Works great. Had a different brand and it caused the bucket to develope a small Crack and leak. This one fits just a bit looser and will not cause the same issue.

Very sturdy

This does everything you need except stay at the bottom of your bucket. Something to secure it to the bottom, and it would be perfect.

Dirt from sponge comes off and stays in bucket

Outside diameter is 10-3/16 inches and it fits nicely in an orange Home Depot bucket. The HD bucket's inside diameter is about 1/4 larger than this grit guard.The polypro material is not brittle, withstands some flexing, so I'm optimistic it will hold up OK.Overall, a good value.

Who knew that much dirt gets back in the bucket!?!?! I bought one of these, then, after I saw the dirt collect beneath it, I switched to a two bucket system. There is A LOT of dirt!!! This keeps it from getting back on the car... and/or sanding the car's finish with the old dirt.

I wanted a grit-guard to fit my Yeti 5.0 Gallon Load Out bucket for the occasions I use that for car washing. It fits perfectly and I am very happy indeed. Would absolutely recommend and will probably buy another for my second/ rinse bucket.

I am very happy I didn't buy one of the more fancy one that are more than twice the price sometimes. This one stands high enough in the bucket to do it's job. I own a 75000 $ black vehicle and it came out perfect from it's first wash with this product at the bottom of the rinse bucket. I think I'm gonna buy another one for the wash bucket. The plastic material it is made of is not cheap at all. Nothing wrong to say about this item.

Vast een goed ding, maar past in geen enkele normaal formaat Nederlandse emmer. Dus nu moet ik ook nog een emmer kopen.....

Wer den Grit Guard einmal ausprobiert hat, der möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Nicht nur beim Auto waschen sondern auch im Haushalt leistet er sehr gute Dienste. Vorbei ist das ewige aufwuehlen von abgesetztem Schmutz am Boden und das Wischwasserlässt sich länger nutzen. Die Qualität scheint richtig gut zu sein, dazu kann ich noch nichts weiter sagen , da ich ihn erst seit kurzem nutze. Das preis-leistungsverhaelnis geht voll in Ordnung.

Way cheaper than some fancy chemical guys 30$ plastic dust gap and durable for the price
