This tool is very handy for picking up the small balls. it is also handy for picking up other small objects. Wirks great for the small piercing jewelry balls and also for small Hppy and craft items.

I bought this device to hold a 3mm piercing ball so that it would be easier for me to screw it on to my tongue web piercing since using my fingers takes hours (literally). This doesn't hold it. the ball either pops out or is completely held by the "grabber arms" and can't be put on the piercing. Apparently this device can also be used for jewels but to be honest I'm not sure it would even work well for that.
