This is a interesting take on such a fun game. The trap mechanism really does a great job of throwing off your plan and keeping you on your toes. If you are a fan of final girl but want a story like no others it is unique and a very different challenge. I also have to admit I love one where I die one move away from a win, I feel it really lives up to the theme.

If you have not played a Final Girl game before - make sure you purchase the Core box! This is not a standalone game If you have played- I was excited for the theme of this one! I’ve only played twice(lost both times) and will say there is ALOT happening you have to balance but the traps are a unique twist but the events and terror cards for this one pack a punch. I would say if you like a more “straightforward” final girl game this one may not be for you- there is a lot to remember and keep track during the phases. If you like a challenge or final girl games with interesting location/killer components give this one a try! I’ve only played this one and the Hell to Play one from series 3 and Hell to Pay was much for straightforward while still introducing a new challenge(rotating location pieces and afflictions). Marek murders is difficult because the killer doesn’t start on the board and there are locks on the exits which makes saving victims a game of chance while also juggling traps you or victims get into.
