Excellent pens
Why did you pick this product vs others?: EXCELLENT pens. Super black ink, and very smooth use. Tip is sturdy, and the ink is long lasting.

Need to write on teflon or other difficult materials?
These pens are simply wonderful. I first used them in a lab because they write on teflon labware. I now use them at home because I haven't yet found a dry solid material that they won't mark. Expensive? Somewhat, but for what I often need them for, they are worth it!

Good density
The ink is a dark nearly opaque black, unlike Sharpie Extra Fine Point, which is a pale purple. Line width is similar to Sharpie Extra Fine Point.

A truly permanent marker
Sharpie's fade out way too quickly. These markers hardly fade after many months of direct sun exposure.

These pens don't work!
I could not just buy one pen to try the brand out; I had to buy three. They are a total waste of my money. All three pens will write for three or four letters, then get lighter and lighter, until they're not writing at all. All three did this from the first time I used them. Really a terrible product, or a seller who peddles past-date merchandise. Please save your money and look for a better pen!

Pretty Good
These pens are recommended by Mpix to use to write on photobooks used as wedding guest books. In general they were good. They did not smudge when guests wrote with them. I did notice that a couple signatures needed to be gone over a few times. I don't know if it was just one faulty/dry pen, or if they were all getting that way after the extended use. It was a bit disappointing, but at the end of the day the group of pens worked fine and the guestbook looks nice.

Optician standard?
My favorite optician, who is somewhat picky about quality, requested I order these for use in verifying optical lens accuracy. Apparently this a standard use for these markers. They have been working quite well in this capacity.

Very good fine writing perm markers, we use them for freezer labels and they are one of the few I have come across that don’t smudge once dry even on glossy labels or bags.

Have used these for some years for plant labelling and they are the most light fast.
