Q: What is the usual "cooling time" before you can take out the curlers?

Im sorry I only used these one time. Did not like them at all. My hair is very thick and curlers would not stay in.

Q: Does this hold all 12 curlers at one time? Or do you only heat 6 at a time?

All 12. It is a cylinder shape, the other 6 are just on the other side. There is a plastic cover with an opening that rotates.

Q: How long does it take to get to maximum temperature?

I find it only takes about a minute or two. I've had mine for about 5 years now. It works as well today as when I bought it.

Q: I'm worried that there isn't going to be enough curlers since I have thick hair!?

I don't even have thick hair and there wasn't enough, so you will for sure have the same issue.
