## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are all of the colors reactive under black light? If not, which ones?**
A: Only the orange and especially yellow are reactive and highly so. The others don't reflect at all. Pink shows vague promise but, like blue, simply disappears into its surroundings. Interestingly, the green really absorbs a lot of UV and looks dark/black under the light.

**Q: How long do they last? And does the color run through the other side of the page where it can be distracting?**
A: My yellow got damaged the first week.  It picked up black from paper (aka I was highlighting over my writing) and it ended up always leaving black smudges whenever I used it.  The blue and green don't have these issues, and have lasted two semesters with a lot of writing, highlighting over said writing, and highlighting in books and handouts.  Some paper everything will bleed though, some paper nothing will.  These have less bleed through than color pens, but more than black pens.  Still mad about that yellow.

**Q: Will they show in black light? Thinking glow party.**
A: No, it’s not glow in the dark

**Q: What type of assortment is it? Hopefully an equal amount of each color...**
A: There are 24 divided equally in the following colors: blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple

These low-cost highlighters lasted me one school semester. I took a class with very extensive hand-written notes, and highlighted nearly my entire notebook with these four colors. For me four colors was just the right amount of variety, and I'm impressed that they kept up with my intense daily usage. I appreciate that these colors were bright and did not obscure my writing.
