Perfect entry level plasma cutter
This plasma cutter works great out of the box and is perfect for a beginner. For the price, do I expect it to last the long haul? Absolutely not, but it's perfect for something you'll only use occasionally. I think it's safe to assume all of these cheaper units are going to functionally work the same, so really what it came down to for me was that it has a 'non-touch pilot arc, the air hose fitting was a standard NPT connection, and it incorporated a drying filter. So far, I've only cut 3/8" sheet with it, and to be honest, that was my first experience with using a plasma cutter. That said...it took 3 minutes to set up, I plugged it in (220), turned my air on (20-year-old Craftsman 30-gal), put on some safety glasses, pulled the trigger, and it cut like butter. Couldn't have been any easier!

Great little hobbyist cutter
As long as you have the right expectations, this is a very nice plasma cutter for a great price. With 240V, this cutter can handle some seriously thick steel. My original thinking was running for some of my stuff on a standard 120V 20A circuit for convenience. That was...shall we say...disappointing. You really need 30A or higher for both 240V and 120V. If you have that, you'll love this. If you were hoping to run this on standard 120V 20A garage outlets, look for something else. It is much smaller and lighter than I expected and seems well built. I had no issues setting it up and it's super easy to use. I expect to be using this for a long time. Now I'm always looking for opportunities to cut something up.

Great little plasma cutter machine
Great plasma cutter. The functionality is very good and straightforward. I’ve used it on a maximum 3mm metal and it works as expected. Even when I missed the ground clamp connection it made some cut with the pilot arc. The turning of the air, post flow and current settings is very easy and clear. Works great with 220v power grid.

Good value.
Cuts pretty good. Only cut 3/16” plate but it work good. Only use the hyanade brand consumables I tried another brand and it started to cut poorly, they come loose on their own. The grounding clamp is very fragile so plan to change that out. Pretty easy to use. I always had it set at 50 amps and 55 psi. No air leaks. Has a few little cons but it is well worth the money

Great compact light-duty unit for hobby/household use!
I've only cut some thin sheet metal with this so far (maybe 16 gauge?), but it went through it like butter and I'm only on a standard 110v outlet in my garage. I only need it for light duty so this is a great compact unit for hobby/household stuff. Seems like a quality little unit and barely takes up any space in the shop. Can't speak to how it will cut heavier plate or other stock but perfect for what I need it for.

The price was right and it cuts metal like a hot knife through butter. I hope it has some longevity.
