I was in doubt about this kind of product, but I bought it anyway and I am happy I did. It is very well made and mine runs absolutely quiet. You can only hear the water and the sound of the rain outside. No motor noise. No complaints at all. I followed the instructions and rinsed all parts and the stones that came with it thoroughly before assembling the scape. I am running it with purified water and I am just hoping my cats leave it alone. 😝
