Surprisingly great quality and brightness
I was twice surprised by this light. My expectations were initially low but almost immediately I realized this light was a solid build with thoughtful details.PackagingThis isn't going to win any awards, but I appreciated that they simulated a quality package design reminiscent of iconic products like the iPhone and other brands such as Anker. It wasn't flimsy, and just enough quality and sturdy enough for you to pay attention, rather than dismiss it on first impressions, without being a waste of money. Great.BuildI expected more plastic. Don't get me wrong, most of it is plastic but it feels solid, and nothing flexes or rattles. The front portion of the main light is metal construction and while I would have preferred everything to be one piece, at this price I was sufficiently satisfied. The join between the plastic and metal feels solid and water tight and while I am generally concerned about waterproofing at joins, I'm pretty confident this will hold. Fitting could be smoother (they're not as well aligned as they could be), but no concerns about the seal. The buttons also feel pretty solid with firm feedback and crisp clicks. Impressed again. You can see the size of the light compared to my hand.Light / brightnessHere was surprise #1. I had the main light pointed away from my face, but was looking at the light. It didn't occur to me that it would be set on the highest be default (of course, why would it not be). Even though it was pointed away, it was bright enough that the modestly diffusing lens threw enough light in my direction to blind me. Put simply, holy cow this thing is bright! I'm typically skeptical of manufacturer claims about brightness. At 800lm sometimes manufacturers fudge numbers a little. I have a few calibrated 1000lm flashlights and can say these are quite bright at a similar order of magnitude. There are 3 levels of brightness which you can see from the photos and the levels of brightness are quite distinct. Many times these levels from other manufacturers are indistinct and not meaningful but here, they are and very noticeable which is appreciated and will be useful for a wider set of use cases. On the highest brightness, the lights is visible even with the room lights on.Additionally there are strobe/flashing settings which helps for visibility.MountsThese are pretty basic and functional. I do wish there was a hard mount and locking option, however the lights both clip into their respective mounts (1 for the front mount, 2 for the rear). The main light is physically clipped in with a release. The slide is solid, very high tolerance with no play which was impressive. The release is solid but soft so very easy to use. If the release fails, I'm confident that the slide is tight enough to retain the light.Again, while there is no lock for the light, the mount can stay in place and the light can be easily be removed and be taken with you for when your bike or scooter needs to stay locked outside. For the rear light, the mount is less secure and more like a tensioned pen clip and a thick rubber piece. I wasn't terrible impressed here but also not significantly disappointed. It does make it easier to remove, maybe less secure (sightly worried about it bouncing loose). The nice thing though is that the pen clip style mount does let you clip it to things like your clothing. Especially useful if you prefer to clip it to your helmet or collar for added visibility.Either way, sufficient for visibility especially not needing to be directional, which brings me to surprise #2: details. The mount is ratcheted so you can change the direction of the throw for the main light. I didn't realize this at first because the mount is so solid I thought it was a one piece. After turning it over a few times I noticed these dimples and sure enough, a solid click and mount settled into a new offset position. This is great because I'll actually be mounting it vertically on the stem of my escooter which has limited handlebar space. That being said, the stem where the lights are going to be mounted are much fatter than the typical handlebar. The mounts are all curved on the underside moulded to hug a standard handlebar but too small a radius for my stem. Two other observations -- Closure, I'm less confident about the style they use for the straps though I think they should be fine. You just have to stretch the strap to get a secure enough fit.- Rubber, the material feels very strong, sufficiently rubbery, and tacky to hold its place. The underside of the main light mount has an especially tacky pad to aid with grip and holding it's position which I think is useful, and hides the tension screw of the ratchet mechanism in case it comes loose.Overall, great product, surprisingly good quality and definitely happy with this purchase.

Extremely bright and very bold to alert cars I’m on the road road
This is a very solid and well built light. It was a very easy install, the battery lasts reasonably long. I use it mostly on the flash setting, I ride 6.5 miles to and from work and I was able to make it three trips Before I had to recharge it. I love how bright it is, which makes me feel much more secure on the road. That car will undoubtedly see me.

Great Quality! Would Recommend.
This product seems much better than I was expecting. The main light is almost entirely metal, while the tail light is all plastic. The packaging is decent, with a few papers inside. There is also a 24 month warranty that is activated by emailing the company, which was not mentioned in the product description. The headlight is very bright, easy to adjust, and does have multiple modes as advertised. The tail light is slightly cheaper feeling, but still good build quality and decently bright. It also has multiple modes. It is also worth mentioning that you could very easily slide the main light off and use it as a flashlight if you ever needed one.Overall very good product, especially for the low price, and I would recommend this product.

Great light!
Disclaimer: I have not used other bike headlights, so I can’t offer comparative comments. On the other hand, I have actually been hit by a biker who was using a light which was not sufficiently bright for use in full-dark conditions, so I have opinions on this topic.Quality:The light has a nice solid feel. Part of it is made from metal, so it has some heft to it. Definitely does not feel cheap.User interface:The on/off switch has a nice feel and the battery life colored light indicator is a helpful touch. Charging via usb is easy and convenient.Mounting:Lights mounts to handlebars via a sturdy rubber strap. It’s really easy to take it on and off for charging and to adjust.Use under semi-dark conditions:By this I mean, dawn/dusk/between street lamps. It works very well for this. It’s plenty bright for the ‘be-seen’ application and on the brightest setting has enough cast to illuminate the path ahead.Use under ‘full-dark’ conditions:After doing some research I found that 800 lumens is about the minimum for full-dark use. I would agree with that assessment. On the brightest setting this light will cast quite a long ways, but in terms of useful illumination (i.e. enough illumination to see something in your path and react to it safely), I would estimate that objects out to about 50-60 feet can be seen, and although the illumination grows a touch dim at that distance, it’s sufficient. One thing I’ve noticed is that it takes more mental energy to stay safe while biking with this light in a full-dark setting. There is a tendency to let your attention stray from the dim outer reaches of the beam (where it should be) and onto the brightly illuminated pavement flying under the front wheel. Definitely doable, but you have to pay attention.Battery life:On the brightest mode the battery life is over 1, which is usable for many applications. As I said the colored battery life status light is helpful and charging via usb is handy.Suggested improvement:It’s pretty important to angle the light low enough so as to avoid shining into the eyes of oncoming bikers and motorist. This light is definitely bright enough to be hazardous if it’s not positioned correctly. The downside is, once the light is angled down sufficiently, it doesn’t cast as far. This could be improved by extending the small overhanging hood over the light lens so the brightest part of the beam can be cast the furthest without allowing stray light to shine upwards into oncoming eyes.Summary:On the whole, it’s a great product for the price and it has allowed me to take early morning bike rides before the sun is up, which is why I bought it. I would recommend it.

Brighter than expected.
These lights are so much brighter than the ones that came with our Electric Bicycles. I feel safer now riding at night knowing that I can see ahead of me to safely avoid obstacles in my path, and oncoming traffic knows where I am as well.
