Perfect for taking group vitals
This machine saved the day. I went on a medical mission trip where I was taking about 50 people’s BP every day for 4 days. I needed something that could easily switch between an adult to a wiggling infant fairly quickly and easily. On infants, this machine makes it easier to get than a manual Bp, especially if they’re crying or moving. Only one time I couldn’t get a child’s bp and it’s because she was moving so much (the screen told me that). But other than that it worked really well. The cuffs are good quality and so is the Velcro. After several hundred uses, the Velcro is still looks new. The machine will turn off automatically without use, to save battery. The only downsides is that I wish it came with a larger adult cuff. I also wish it came with a case. But otherwise it’s a great machine and it can be stored in the box. I didn’t have any problem switching between adults/pediatric/infant mode when I switched the cuff sizes, and i was able to figure it out pretty quickly. Instructions to change user type: Turn on Hit Menu (middle purple button) Push down arrow until yellow box is around “system setup” Hit enter (middle purple button) Push up arrow until you get to “user type” Hit enter (the box will turn red) Push up or down to pick between adult/ped/infant Hit enter to confirm the selection (box turns back to yellow) Hit Start (big gray button)

Cuff error- unusable.
Error. Could not even use it. When the neonate cuff is within the proper range it inflates and then immediately deflates and says cuff error. When I make it larger to outside of the proper range it inflates and works normally… which makes no sense cause then it would be an improper fit. Unfortunately returning this item.

Mostly good
This is a pretty nice little BP monitor. For an older child (2+ years old) or an adult this monitor is great and right on target (maybe even 1+ but I can't say for sure not having a 1 yr old to try it on) But for an infant or baby it's just okay. For an infant I think the user/parent would need a little experience in knowing which numbers may or may not be accurate. For instance, I had to use this for my infant son who had some hypertension issues. And no matter what I did, the neonatal cuff never worked at all. I did go into settings and set user 1 as neo so that the smallest cuffs would work, and even so the neonatal cuff on my son's arm would never give me a result. So, I had to use the infant cuff on my son's leg. Then I had to look at both the BP and HR results to assess if the reading was accurate since if the monitor read a HR of 60-100 I knew that the BP was probably not accurate whereas if the HR read 120-160 I was more likely to believe it since that is where an infants HR typically stays. So all in all this is a pretty good BP monitor but the neonatal cuff is useless and the infant cuff is sporadic and the readings can't always be trusted.
