can this crown be adjusted so that it could fit a 3 year old boy?

The crown is not adjustable :-/ my son wore it for his kinder grad. He was 5 at the time and it was big

I wear a 8" size ball cap, im assuming this wont wont find my enormous dome.

what material are the golden ribbons made of?

Golden part of crown is thick plastic. The inner rim is padded. Some of my jewels needed to be reglued. Other than that product shipped quickly. Our child was happy to wear it at birthday party.
