Top-of-the-line guitar cables at a fraction of retail
Amazon actually has the best price I've been able to find on genuine Mogami cabling, it arrived fast and was exactly the advertised length. I was able to create five top quality cables literally for the price of one single Mogami cable at any music store locally or online. The connectors are expensive (separate purchase of course) but that's just part of making your own cables. I love how the ground/ring strands are not braided – it makes it so much easier to prepare and solder. Absolutely zero interference or hum/buzz with this cabling, I absolutely recommend it over any other.

Great cable
It does not come in a spool, so those pictures are misleading. It's just 50ft. This cable is amazing and makes my guitar sound great. Highly recommended.

Premium wire.
Great wire. It's the same wire that Mogami uses for their premium instrument cables. I have made several cables with this wire and they work great.

Good cable but does not come on a reel.
Fine cable but the pic is misleading in that it does not come on a reel.

Not spooled
Came well packaged a sealed. I thought it would be spooled, but it was coiled with ties.

Make your own cables
I saw a youtube video about making your own cables and decided to give it a go. I use switchcraft plugs so the results are first rate. The soldering is straightforward and the result is that you have excellent cables at the exact length you want for a fraction of what ready-made cables cost. Go for it!

Great wire! Used to make some custom length TS guitar cables. High quality stuff. Will definitely buy again (when I can afford it).

I screwed up an order, and they were so very nice about it.
Mogami 2524 cable is the industry standard. Accept no substitutions. Great product, fair price. I will definitely buy more cable from them in the future, but 100 yards should last me for awhile.
