I chose Renata 399 SR927 W Silver Oxide Swiss made battery for my Invicta Chronographs and my other quartz movement time pieces. Special notation, Silver Oxide batteries are also made in the United States. I prefer buying the Renata Swiss made version. 399 SR927 W Silver Oxide Swiss Made Battery Features: Long-lasting power: This battery provides a stable and consistent power supply for extended periods. High capacity: Despite its compact size, the SR927W battery has a relatively high energy density, allowing it to store a significant amount of power. Reliable performance: With a low self-discharge rate, the SR927W battery retains its charge even when not in use, ensuring it is ready when needed. Wide temperature range: It can operate effectively across a broad range of temperatures, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Compact and lightweight: The small size and lightweight nature of the SR927W battery make it convenient for use in portable devices. Although Alkaline batteries are used as watch batteries, it is my recommendation to use alkaline batteries which are best suited for digital analog watches and other such devices. They do have a shorter shelf life compared to silver oxide batteries, but they still last pretty long regardless. They are cheaper to make (hence the smaller cost), the only problem with alkaline watch cells is if they are left unchanged after there is no longer voltage current over an extended period of time, they could potentially leak and could cause corrosion and damage to your watch or other devices that use these types of batteries. Always check your time piece for the type of battery you are replacing. You may also consult with your local jeweler or manufacture.
