Very nice and sturdy accurate as described
The extra length is always nice to have long arms on both ends clear and easy to read.It came with a dead battery~ not cool.

Great, a bit top heavy when handling
Works well, great price vs competitors, but the weight is not balanced, making it a bit top heavy. Nothing you cannot work with, but noticeable vs previous calipers I used

Pleasantly surprised at the quality.
At this price, I was expecting a plastic housing but the whole thing is metal. It feels nice to use. The case is cheap plastic but at least it come with a case, and a spare battery and mini screwdriver.

Feels high quality
I bought these to replace calipers from Harbor Freight (item #63711) that I left at a friend's place across the state. Since Harbor Freight jacked up their prices and got rid of coupons, it was no longer dirt cheap to buy the same ones, so I figured I'd shop around. I also decided to get something a little more upscale, since I use calipers regularly in 3D modelling, home/car improvement projects, etc, and ended up going with these.The all metal construction and weight of this item exudes quality, and the movement is MUCH smoother compared to my old Harbor Freight calipers. The 8" reach has already come in handy. I especially like the easy to read display, and although the vast majority of my work is metric, the fractions have come in handy a couple times in the week I've had it. And it look great too.My only complaint is that it doesn't zero out 100% of the time -- I'd say 80-90% of the time it returns to zero when closed, but occasionally it is off by .01mm. It makes absolutely no practical difference, it's just slightly annoying.All in all, I'm glad I forgot my old pair at my friend's, and got to upgrade to these!

These calipers are easy to use,easy to read and is actually overkill for my swings but I have other more precise uses and accuracy is spot on.
