Freesky Swift Horse Review
I have ridden my ebike a few weeks now and put on over 150 miles to get a feel being on a bike again. It has been 40 years since I last rode one! I ride a couple times a week in area parks and residential areas for enjoyment. I don't use it for commuting. I chose this ebike because it has been on sold on Amazon for over 2 years, plus they have an internet site, Freeskycycle.com, for customer service and parts. It has desirable equipment such as Shimano gears, Samsung batteries 48V 25ah, MXUS 1000W hub motor (max output 1800), hydraulic disc brakes, 4" wide wheels, strongly built suspension fork and rear shock. The frame is robust and holds 300 lbs. But, be aware this bike is heavy. At least 90 lbs when including the battery. I have a bike rack with a ramp, 2" hitch, and capable of holding a 100+ pound ebike. Be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars more for a proper bike rack and hitch, if you cannot put inside your vehicle. As for the ride, it pulls my over 200 lb body easily with throttle only. I am able to RIDE with PAS 2 and peddling for over 30 miles with little more than 15% battery drain at a more or less constant 12 -13 mph. If I vary the mix with PAS 3 - 5, while peddling, then I still get 30 miles with 35% battery drain. I probably averaged 13 - 14 mph for the distance, including stopping and starting. So, I do think the performance I get represents what they advertise. I have not modified the controller. I am able to go a sustained 32mph in PAS 5 on level pavement. The limitation for me is the gearing. Beyond this speed, I cannot really add any more peddle effort to push faster because it could use more gears. Someone that can peddle faster will attain a higher speed. The brakes work flawlessly and you can lock the tires up easily, if needed. The bike rides comfortably. The large tires provide a strong grip and smooth out the rough pavement or ruts on the trails. The front fork is adjustable to how much softness or firmness you want. The rear shock is good for my weight, but may be stiff for a lighter rider. It can be replaced with an adjustable shock, if you want. The seat was actually decent, but I have upgraded to a premium seat for long rides. The fenders are a bit flimsy, but they do keep wheel dust or water from splashing up on you. It took about an hour for me to put the bike together and inspect all the pre-assembled parts. An instruction booklet was sent with the bike. I read it before assembling. I recommend having a second set of hands to help assemble this heavy bike. Freesky customer service contacted me through the Amazon message system and provided instructions to follow prior to ripping into the shipping box. Be sure to read these messages. I also had questions about the charger use and messaged them. They responded to all of them within 12 hours. I also called a customer service number and was followed up with a mobile phone text. Since we are on opposite ends of the day, the response came to me in the evening and I then had a live chat around 8 pm. His day was starting at 7 am. This ebike meets my needs for a ruggedly built trail and street bike. I do not use it as a commuter bike, but one that is able to take a bit of a pounding on park trails. It has some name brand parts that I can have serviced or fixed. The batteries are UL rated, not some unfamiliar off-brand.

Great bike!
I received my bike about a week ago. It was packaged extremely well! It took about an hour to unpack and assemble, but I'm fairly handy at doing that kind of stuff. The bike seems to be built very well. It is heavier than your standard bicycle for sure, but it handles and rides great. I am very impressed with the power and torque of the motor. I weigh about 200 pounds and it barely knows I'm on it when it's time for the motor to kick in. The life of the battery has been exceptional. After I charged the battery, I got about 85 miles on it before I decided to charge it again, but I still had 34 percent battery life left. I feel certain I could have gotten over 100 miles on it before it "needed" to be charged. I've had it up to 38 mph in the unlocked mode with me pedaling about as hard as I can to see how fast I could go on a flat surface. My legs probably just couldn't pedal any faster. I did get it up to 41 going downhill, but gravity was helping me out on that one. That is really fast on a bicycle!! Most of my riding is in Pedal Assist Mode 2, and my speed averages 15 to 17 mph at that level with minimal effort on my part. Mode 3 jumps me up to about 23 mph, which is kind of fast for the majority of the riding that I do, but in some areas it's perfect. I'm 5'8" and while throwing my 58 year old leg over it to get on or get off is a little tight, once I'm on the bike it's fine. If you are shorter than 5' 7" you might need to be a little more flexible than I am to be comfortable doing that. I bought the ultimate package that came with all the accessories and they are handy to have. The bag that fits on the luggage rack is perfect to carry your stuff in. I am very pleased with this bike, so much so that I'm looking to buy a 20" model for my wife. I initially didn't want the 4 inch wide tires, but now that I have them I'm glad I do. They add stability and I think they make the ride a little smoother. There are so many different brands of e-bikes out there it's hard to decide which one is right for you. If Freesky has a model that suits your needs, I would certainly recommend them!

Great ebike at a great price!
This ebike is unreal! It’s like what I imagined being in the future would be like when I was a kid! Very powerful motor, super heavy duty! It is a big heavy bike (almost like riding a dirt bike) but still somehow easy to ride and pedal with no assist. I get almost as many looks from gawking people as when I drive my hotrod! People call it nightrider since it’s all black. I put 140mm crank arms on it (it comes with 170mm) so I could actually keep up with the emotor while at top speed, which for me is about 33mph. (It has to be unlocked with a code that I got from freesky tech support otherwise it’s locked at 20mph) I upgraded the shock, seat, and put a shock absorbing seat post on it which made it super comfortable and smooth even on rough terrain at high speeds. I also ordered the bag that amazon recommended (JXFUKAL) it expands to 40L and fits perfectly on the rack! My first ebike got stolen so I bought the biggest lock and chain I could find on amazon. I also put a hidden airtag (hidden under the water bottle cup holder) and an alarm on it! Take precautions ebikes are a highly stolen item nowadays. Great value for the money. I researched ebikes for weeks and this was the one I really wanted, it has all the features I wanted at about half the price of other equivalent ebikes. At max power and speed it probably goes 60 miles. I’ve never tested it all the way to zero percent but that’s my guess based on battery percentage. At a low power assist level I can ride for dozens of miles and the battery barely drains, if I had to guess it would probably go at least 180 miles (probably more) at low power on flat road. If you’re thinking about getting an ebike I don’t think you can do much better for the money!

This bike is simply amazing! It had a few minor issues at first, but after I contacted the seller, Mr. Ande, he immediately responded and helped me resolve everything without causing any headache. His attitude was outstanding — super nice, patient, and genuinely caring. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are completely satisfied. Sellers like him are incredibly rare nowadays! As for the bike itself — the quality is exceptional. It’s solid, rigid, and built with impressive craftsmanship. Every detail feels premium, and it rides so smoothly and powerfully that you can feel the quality in every turn. It’s reliable, durable, and clearly designed to last for years without any hassle. If you’re looking for a high-quality bike that delivers top performance and is backed by incredible customer service, this is the one. I recommend it without a single doubt. This is a perfect 10 out of 10 experience — both the product and the seller deserve full credit for excellence!

I’ve ridden over 200 km on my Freesky Swift Horse Pro 6X-E, and overall, I’m very impressed. The build quality is excellent with great attention to detail. The motor power and top speed are very good, and the lighting is also solid. What really stood out to me is the battery range – the autonomy is much better than I expected. Brakes are strong and reliable. However, the suspension is definitely the weakest part of the bike. The stock rear shock was extremely stiff and offered almost no comfort, so I replaced it with an air shock very quickly. The biggest disappointment is the front suspension fork. Even though I mostly ride on paved roads and bike paths, its performance is poor – it barely absorbs any bumps. I wasn’t expecting a high-end suspension at this price point, but I did expect something more functional. Freesky should really offer a front fork upgrade option, just like they do with the rear air shock. That way, buyers can make a better decision knowing the front fork is very basic. I also ordered my bike with the twist throttle upgrade, but I ended up not liking it. The grips that came with it were very hard and uncomfortable. In the end, I removed the twist throttle and went back to using the original thumb button, which feels better overall. Aside from the suspension and grips, this is a fantastic e-bike and I’m happy with my purchase. Great value for the price.

Spent a thorough amount of time researching e-bikes and agreed on a FreeSky purchase. Very well packaged with shipping coordinated, combined with good communication from the folks at FreeSky Cycle. Takes a little time on the assembly, but easily managed...just take your time. Good videos on the portal and from others on YouTube. Very impressed with the quality and ride on the this e-bike. Recommended.

We purchased a swift horse, rocky pro and wild horse. They are very well built and smooth to ride, the battery lasts for quite a while especially with pedal assist. We had a few questions when setting up plus had a broken part when putting the wild horse together but both times issues where resolved quickly
