L'ho avuto per le mani per un giorno solo, giusto il tempo di verificare che era troppo per lo scopo cui serviva a me e quindi ho fatto il reso. Ma osservandolo bene ho visto che ha una qualità costruttiva che probabilmente giustifica il costo. Se un domani dovessi costruire una macchina piu precisa, penso che userei questi motori. NOTA: il motore è un NEMA 23, quindi per pilotarlo meglio avere un driver apposta, con le schedine GRBL a driver integrati non ce la fate.

This linear actuator is useful for a wide variety of precision 3D printing and robotics tasks. I only ran it from a Raspberry Pi with a motor driver hat, but it did what it was supposed to do, which is very slowly turn the screw on the main drive shaft. It is very precise and high quality, but almost lost a star from two things: weight and noise. The item is much heavier than I expected, and while build quality is a plus, the designers seemed to have gone a little overboard for only 100mm of travel. My unit is rock-solid. If you are looking for something light, this isn't it. It also makes a humming nose when engaging, like many Nema motors do, and if you're looking for something silent, this isn't it. If you're looking for something heavy duty and built well, that performs to specification, then this might be the actuator for you. Five Star High Quality Linear Actuator

I have built multiple CNC machines, and I always start with the z axis. The z travel defines much of the geometry of the rest of the machine, and having a known assembly to start with makes the design of the other axes much more straightforward. This assembly has a travel of 100mm (4”) so it has plenty of capacity for most cnc routers, plasma cutters and other similar devices. I am using this to move a tufting gun in and out of the fabric area when changing yarn or moving to a non-adjacent area to fill. The Nema 23 motor and ball screw provide plenty of power for this kind of application where cutting forces are not applicable. This unit is high quality and priced right. Perfect z axis.

I got this linear rail for usage on a cnc project but have also found it useful for other projects I have been looking at. The first project is really trying to measure performance of an ultrasonic electronic project. It's very useful for thr type of projects where you need to accurately control something in a linear motion. This particular linear guide is well built and constructed. It works extremely well for almost any use case. The only thing missing are bump switches to prevent going too far. That would have been a nice improvement but it's an easy add. Asside from that this is a great guide that I would buy again!
