This is a very useful tool when the monitor doesn't offer a VESA mount. I have a traveling setup with a tiny PC attached to the back of the monitor. The small 16" monitor I'm using has an uneven back without four VESA mounting holes. Since this is a flexible plate, I was able to attach it across the uneven back surface and mount the computer and monitor arm from there. It is nice and secure and looks professional. Minus one star because the adhesive captured my fingerprints when I first tried to peel off the protective film to attach it to the monitor. My fingerprints are embedded in the adhesive forever. This is actually the part that faces the public so it doesn't look very good.

The surface big and the adhesive is very strong. Together work very well for conect my monitor to the arm.
