I got this and some other chalk paint of the same brand to update our bathroom vanity. I had an entire look planned out in my head, and honestly, it came out even better than I anticipated. I cleaned the entire piece, used gorilla wood glue to attach the appliqués to the existing vanity, taped everything off, and painted it with a mix of red and mustard colored chalk paint from this kit. I then rubbed Vaseline in areas I wanted to show distressed wear and painted over that with green from the kit and navy blue chalk paint I bought separately. (I do have formal training and have been painting for years and paint wall murals, so if you are inexperienced, you may not want to use this method.) I then wiped down the piece to remove the areas with the Vaseline and have the red/mustard layer show through. I also sanded the piece in parts that I wanted even more distressing. It turned out great and the appliqués really added another dimension to the piece. I knew I wanted to finish the look using a navy and green mix, and this was really pretty. It’s easy to blend. I kept it patchy, but I love the way it contrasts. Overall, I’m supremely happy with how the piece turned out. Because it’s our master bath, I did use this as a bit of a test for my more intricate plans for our kitchen island, and I’m happy with the results. Once the entire piece is finished and cleaned up, I’ll try to post more pictures!

Order cam very quickly :)! I am very pleased with this paint and the color choices are numerous. I have chalk painted several items and have no complaints or concerns with the paint. It spreads nicely, dries quickly, cleans up easily and beautifully. Price is great compared to other big name brand chalk paint. Honestly, I prefer this paint over the name brand.. The name brand is thick and 'drags' when applied. The Folk Art chalk paint covers very well. Due to the type of paint--no odor, I can use it in the basement with no problems.

Every time I look at my stash of colors, I think of yet another project I can do. Love this stuff! I have mixed and combined several of the more neutral colors, in order to give my 11' solid dark red brick fireplace wall a face lift. You can literally use this paint on ANYTHING, I think, and no smell, no harmful vapors, quick dry time--and fool proof. You mess it up, you wipe it off and start again. It's THAT EASY. I used to dread the thought of needing to paint. Now, I can't wait to get started on something new. Have used this for wood cabinets, vanities, mirrors, book ends, end tables--old and new. It makes me feel like I'm an artist--so I get a rush in addition to a new look to all things old.

Great product, decent price (comparable to most), but a small complaint about the color choices. I was in the midst of a project and was told to try chalk paint. So I researched several companies on Amazon and in stores. I'm surprised how few people in the industry know much about it. From my research, I found that it's one of the oldest paints used in history, going back thousands of years. And yet now, one company actually holds the copyright to the title "chalk paint." But... history aside, the paints are very good. The flow easily and stay nicely and dry relatively quickly. Clean up was surprisingly easy, soap and water, and came right off the hands. The only complaint I have is that there were no primary type colors - red, blue, yellow. I had hoped for those as well. Never the less, I made use of these and my project turned out nicer than I had hoped.

This is my first time buying and using furniture paint for some DIY projects I had been planning for. It had so many great reviews. Love how easy it was to cover the surface, dries fairly quickly. I didn't have their wax to finish it off but I used a satin varnish for acrylic paints and it worked just fine. I am going to be back for different colors.

I ordered these chalk paints so I could start doing something with all the curb side furniture that I make my husband pick up for me. When "his" garage was getting full he threatened no more until I did something with what I already had. This set of paints is amazing. A little goes along way. This cabinet was grey until I went Bohemian Rhapsody on it...trust the process! I've since gotten more of their colors. I love them.

So I got this and I am really impressed with it. It covers with just one coat and the colors are beautiful. I seen there is another set I will have to order because this is great paint. They were delivered on time and great packaging.

En pésimo estado. 5 colores abiertos, escurrido y resecos. Uno de los verdes huele muuuuuy mal. Venía muy bien empacado pero... Pese a que era una promo, no me hubiera imaginado que la marca se desprestigiar a así, debió especificar que era producto dañado y caduco.
