I was not disappointed. Due to lack of rain, my tall fescue lawn was starting to get brown patches all over. At first I used a fungicide. Waited a few weeks to see if it would clear up--not completely. Then I rented a de-thatching machine. (This is a very important step.) Cleaned all the thatch up and using a seed spreader put down JG Black Beauty Fall Magic Grass Seed. Thick, dark green grass started to come up within a week. I waited about 5 weeks before I mowed the lawn. Very satisfied with outcome. Review: Great seed - Planted this in September of 2025. Looks beautiful this spring. It looks like every seed germinated. ## Features - PERFECT FOR FALL SEEDING - Our cool-season grass seed mix is formulated for successful fall seeding projects.
