Handmade Celluloid French Clip Design Tortoise Shell Oblong Luxury Fashion Accessories Hair Clip Claw for Women Barrettes (A)

Based on the item description I thought this would be a large hair clip that might be adequate for my very thick and long hair. The only one I have that will hold my hair measures 4 inches but is falling apart after several years of use. This item arrived and I was dismayed to find that it is the standard 3.5 inch barrette, it will not even come close to holding all of my hair.

I love the look of this clip! It is a bit large for my thin hair, but not too bad. The celluloid is pretty scratch-resistant which is great! The clasp can be a little difficult to get undone but that means it won’t fall out. I will say that I think it’s overpriced- it’s not really anything special, just a cute hair clip.

So far, so good! I really like that the clip has a protective cover on it to help it hold and stop hair from getting caught in it (and ripping out). Seems to be excellent quality and looks so much better than a hair elastic. 10/10 just wish it were a little cheaper.

I just got it today. its beautiful. it was such a great price too. i have been eyeing hair clips like this on Madewell and Nordstrom and this was a fraction of the price. i have short hair, and i have a lot of hair but its fine. i am able to put my hair in a pony tail with this clip. it is not sliding off or pulling my hair. its perfect. i hope it lasts a long time!

Happy with this purchase. I have fine, wavy shoulder length hair. I was looking for a barrette to tie my hair back during the summer and this is perfect. My hair doesn't respond well to elastics due to the tension and my hair easily gets tangled up in them and cause some damage and hair loss. This barrette holds my hair back nicely without any damage or tension. If you have thick hair It may be a little too small to pull back all of your hair. I unfortunately wasn't blessed with thick hair.... so this works very nicely for me. Also, this was nicely packaged and shipped quickly.

Very pretty barrette, but it slides out of fine/thin hair. I'll continue working with it. If you have thicker hair, get this well-made, lovely, hair accessory.

This barrette is really pretty and very nice quality. I bought one for myself and later on more for friends
