I purchased the Autel MS908S PRO II and I enjoy it. It pulls up codes from my cars that my other OBD-II scanners do not. It gives me way more options to diagnose my cars, it is as close to one-stop-shopping as you are going to get for a diagnostics tool. You can also build on it by adding TPMS or Battery checking tools, for example. If you work on cars for hire, this is very nice to have, I don’t think you will regret the investment. If you work on cars as a hobby, and you want to do all the work or most of it yourself, you would also be purchasing a great tool, pricey, but great convenience. ----- Update 29NOV24 ----- It is capable of programming the 2006 Ford Escape XLS 2.3L: GEM/SJB, ABS Module, IC/Instrument Cluster............but NOT the PCM :(... I still like the scanner, everything else that it can do, so no regrets! But definitely, I am looking for something that can program an 18 year old PCM, it should be a piece of cake. ----- End of Update -----

Searching the internet for an auto diagnostic tool can be time consuming and confusing. YouTube videos are helpful. However, some warn about buying from Amazon due to lack of product/technical support. Luckily for me, I found Autelonline on Amazon. They were not only knowledgeable on the Autel product line and were able to steer me in the right direction for a diagnostic analyzer that would satisfy my needs (MS908S Pro II), they provided outstanding technical support with issues I had after purchase. They promptly responded to my questions within a few hours probably due to time difference. I use this scanner on a very wide variety of vehicles. So far, it seems like it's a great asset to the service truck. The only complaint I have is that the battery does not last very long at all if the outside temp is cold.
