Review: Awesome Product - HDMI Works great, no issues. I have my tower downstairs and ran a few ethernet lines up the wall to my TV area in the kitchen. This allows us to game in my kitchen where alot of time is spent with 3 kids. I'll start with I bought and returned 2 other manufactures products before finding this product. The first major issue I faced with the previous products is USB power. I was only able to get 1 maybe 2 of the 4 to work other manufacturers. This one worked because its powered on both ends. So I have a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless game pad and bluetooth receiver plugged in (4 of 4), and they all work flawlessly. So big + for me. Also the remote headers was a huge bonus. I'm able to turn on my computer remotely by purchasing Y splitting cables for Motherboard ATX Power Headers. Its on desertcart. I also purchased a power button extension also on desertcart, both for less then $20. I also had to get 3.81mm 4 Pin Phoenix Type Connectors which go on the headers on the boxes. Each switch / LED share a common Ground or (-) on both boxes. In the picture the computer is on and the LED is on. Its dim due to not having resistors is my guess but I'm unsure since I didn't open the box. Only thing I wish it had was a wall mounting bracket that looked nice, or some type of mounting holes on the back, or mounting ears that come off the side like simular type products have. Review: Works Perfectly (with the right cables!) - I struggled to get my devices to connect to and send data through the usb ports on this thing for days. I finally figured out it was because I was using a cat6 ethernet cable instead of a cat8 cable. Cat8 fixed the issue and this thing works amazingly now! ## Features - [4K@60Hz HDMI KVM USB Extender] This KVM extender with resolution up to 4K@60Hz, support 4K@60Hz/50Hz/30Hz, 1080P@60Hz/24Hz, 720P@60Hz/50Hz, 480P/1080i/720i etc... provide you with a viewing experience of ultra high video quality. - [196ft Long Distance Lossless Transmission] The USB HDMI extender in a single cat5e/cat6 Ethernet cable to 60M (196 feet) lossless, kvm extender 4K HDMI zero delay transmission signal. - [ USB2.0 4 Port KVM Extender ] 4K KVM Extender has 4 ports of usb2.0, high speed usb2.0 up to 480Mbps. 4k HDMI extender supports full USB 2.0 extension, extend keyboard, Bluetooth, USB headphones, camera, microphone and so on. - [Plug and Use POC HDMI KVM Extender] 4K USB extender with poc only uses a 12V/2A power supply to get one-sided power supply; plug and play without any driver, 4k kvm extender suitable for various application scenarios such as office management, multimedia classroom, home theater, outdoor display, etc. - [What you get] Package: 4k kvm USB transmitter and receiver, one USB cable, two standard 12V2A power adapters. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B099F2T3MS | | Actuator Type | Push Button | | Brand | Basicolor | | Brand Name | Basicolor | | Color | black / black | | Connector Type | Plug In | | Connector type | Plug In | | Contact Material | Aluminum | | Contact Type | Normally Open | | Contact type | Normally Open | | Customer Reviews | 3.7 out of 5 stars 62 Reviews | | International Protection Rating | IP54 | | Item Dimensions | 12.5 x 8.4 x 2.5 centimeters | | Item Weight | 499 g | | Manufacturer | ARX Tech | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Mounting Type | Rack Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Positions | 2 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Operation mode | Manual | | Part Number | 791523759802 | | Switch Type | Toggle | | Switch type | Toggle | | Terminal | Screw | | UPC | 791523759802 | | Wattage | 24 watts | ## Product Details - **Operation mode:** Manual - **Contact type:** Normally Open - **Connector type:** Plug In - **Brand:** Basicolor - **Switch type:** Toggle ## Images ![Basicolor Usb Extender Hdmi Kvm 4K @ 60Hz Extender Kvm Over Cat5E / Cat6 Up to 60M (196 Feet), 4 Usb Ports, Lossless Latency Or Zero Plug-and-Play (Kvm Extender) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rFd2U0KuL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Product *by D***. on 1 January 2023* HDMI Works great, no issues. I finally figured out it was because I was using a cat6 ethernet cable instead of a cat8 cable. Cat8 fixed the issue and this thing works amazingly now! ### ⭐ Stopped working after 11 months *by S***N on 13 December 2025* It worked fine for almost a year and then suddenly stopped transmitting hdmi or usb. Reached out to manufacturer to get it warranty'd but thus far have been ignored. Would not recommend. ## Frequently Bought Together - Basicolor HDMI KVM USB Extender, 4K@60Hz Ethernet Extender Over Cat5 Cat6 Up to 196Ft(60m), Video Transmit Lossless and Near Zero Latency, Plug&Play HDMI to Rj45, 4xUSB2.0 - AINOPE 2 Pack USB 3.0 A to A Male Cable 6.6FT+6.6FT,USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 Cable [Never Rupture] USB Male to Male Cable Double End USB Cord Compatible with Hard Drive Enclosures, DVD Player, Laptop Cool - USB 3.0 HDMI KVM Switch 1 Monitors 2 Computers, 4K@60Hz KVM Switches for 2 Computers Sharing Monitor Keyboard Mouse Hard Drives Printer, with EDID Adaptive, 2USB Cable and Controller --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/733348935-basicolor-usb-extender-hdmi-kvm-4k-60hz-extender-kvm-over](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/733348935-basicolor-usb-extender-hdmi-kvm-4k-60hz-extender-kvm-over) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
